Floki of the Ironborn
Anyone think Tyene will end up poisoning the High Sparrow? Or maybe even seduce him? The High Sparrow is supposedly incorruptible, and if there's one thing GRRM likes is showing how even the purest of people can be brought down by their personal flaws. Will this be another example of that when Tyene arrives? Or will she decide for whatever reason that he needs to die and ends up poisoning him? It's been established that she is an expert with poisons, and IIRC she hasn't poisoned anyone in the series yet. Maybe killing the High Sparrow will be her big act of the next book? larastone
i think she might end up playing a role in his downfall too. the idea of him being seduced by her is very amusing to me but at the same time i think it would be kind of cheap/predictable for GRRM to go there. Nights Kings Queen
High sparrow doesn't seem like the guy to get seduced. Even when the women whips out the "bad pussy" line (I'll never ever stop finding that funny).
James Steller
Why wouldn't Tyene poison Cersei or any of her allies? The High Sparrow didn't do anything against Dorne as far as I know. The only way poisoning him makes any sense to me is if she wants to blame it on someone like Cersei.
OuttaOldtown
Many possibilities, so long as the High Sparrow is working against Cersei the only reason it would make sense to poison him would be to frame the Lannisters/Tyrells. Discovering Gus intentions may be phase 1..

I think she will ingratiate herself with the High Sparrow to use as a tool to manipulate events in KL, in the interest of Dorne. In the end she may kill him if she can frame the Lannisters or the Tyrells, but thats about it.

I think she'll impress him with her "innocence" and "piety" and thus be able to influence him without using seduction, or at the very least learn everything he is planning to do. He'll feel she's the maiden reborn, utterly incapable of deceit or cunning. Why wouldn't Tyene poison Cersei or any of her allies? The High Sparrow didn't do anything against Dorne as far as I know. The only way poisoning him makes any sense to me is if she wants to blame it on someone like Cersei. Because she's from Dorne and everybody expects that? If I were her I would definitely not do anything that would be easily traced back to my home culture. She won't be telling anyone she's Oberyn's daughter but the Sand Snakes are NOT the only people in Dorne who are associated with poison.
Lady Barbrey
Isn't she the sister that Doran himself has to wash his hands after touching her hair? It might be some form of poetic justice if the people who were in on the hair net plot buy it from Tyene. Littlefinger, she's coming for YOU. But really I have no idea. falcotron
High sparrow doesn't seem like the guy to get seduced. Even when the women whips out the "bad pussy" line (I'll never ever stop finding that funny). The show character is really book-Elia aged up a few years, with bits of the other Sand Snakes thrown in (and more Nymeria than Tyene). Book-Elia trying to act trashy and using the "bad pussy" line to seduce the High Sparrow would be stupid, but book-Tyene acting as pure as the Maiden and being a lot more subtle and gradual about it isn't nearly as ridiculous. (I still don't think it's likely, I'm just saying put show-Tyene out of your mind when thinking about it.)
mywintersong
Do we know who the high sparrow was before becoming such? Cersei talked at length about how high solutions shed their names. It's perhaps our new high solutions background significant? (Bad example: Maybe he is one of the reynes of castamere and is out to get the lannisters.) Maybe Tyene will be part of his unmasking for the readers.

Honestly I'd prefer that it isn't someone like Howland Reed or a surviving Reyne. I prefer it that he is what he seems: an ordinary man who had enough of the corruption and actually put his money where his mouth was to use his faith to fight it. Whether he's as incorruptible as he seems is another matter, but making it all about who's under the Scooby-Doo mask is a huge undermining of the character as far as I'm concerned. Northernmonkey
More likely she'll convince him to back Aegon and help overthow the Lannisters from inside the city. Assuming that Arianne gets betrothed to Aegon.
JaegrM
My theory is she'll become bffs with the high sparrow, see Ser Robert Strong. immedietly assume that he's Gregor. since we already have the sandsnakes doubting that it's really gregor's skull. She'll convince The High Sparrow she should be the one to battle him in Cersei's trial, It's been established that their ARE women in the faith's military. She'll use a similar tactic to oberyn and poison Ser Robert Strong with a fatal wound,... But since he's dead it won't matter and he kills her. Cementing UnGregor as an unstoppable monster and further alienating Dorne. And leaving King's landing open to the other sandsnakes.
Fire Eater
I think she might find her way into his bed. The HS will have to have done something bad to be a self-flagellate, and the only other self-flagellate we have seen is Septon Utt of the Brave Companions after having raped and killed his latest boy. I think the HS like another traveling septon in the riverlands, Meribald, also succumbed to the sins of the flesh, but whereas Meribald went without shoes, the HS whipped himself. Lord Wraith
Considering I think the High Sparrow could already be working with Doran i see no need for the sleeping together or poisoning. Neither seems likely without it either. Both have more important fish lions to fry.

If anyone was going to fight unGregor it would be Obara (who is still in Dorne) or Nym, who quite frankly is the more likely seductress. Not that Tyene couldn't seduce a man, but Nym's already got that reputation while Tyene cultivates the image of maidenly virtue.
The Lord of the Crossing
What is left of the high sparrow will fit inside a sardine can when Gregos is done with him. Tyene won't need poison.

Given Areo's assessment of her and the other sandsnakes, I'm assuming all are capable enough in battle. I'm also assuming seeing the man who killed her father will make her pretty angry. On the other hand I can see her sitting on the sidelines and applying the poison if she's not actually chosen to be the faith's champion. I'm still convinced that UnGregor will prove impervious to the tactics that killed Gregor.

There's a theory that Mel wasn't affected by the poison that killed Cressen because she's already dead (and brought back). What if poison can't kill unGregor?
