Did he pull some mind control magic out of his ass for this to happen? The Littlefinger we know from the books got his power well after the Rebellion and after Lysa had to carry his worthless ass to the top. He was 14, the same age as j snow when he joined NW, same age as dany when she hatched dragons, same age as the dragonknight conquered dorne. All he would have to so is plant the seed of the kidnapping in lysas head and it could easily reach Brandon. He COULD still speak and think at the time. That he is most certainly capable of. This is something he would like to do. The time and the location make it difficult. I can't argue there. I suppose all it would take is one raven sent to the right or the wrong person and mis-info goes viral. Travel by horse takes time, gossip by birds is quicker. This is assuming she would need to alter the message or lie. Brandon seems to me like the kind of guy who might overreact to his betrothed sister running away with a married dude, even if it isn't abduction. At the time LF is the quite bad injured boy out of grace with no connections, staying only long enough until he was fit enough to travel. Assuming he is somehow influencing things is far fetched. LF essentially decides the course of the Wot5K by his lonesome already. He doesn't need to be involved in literary everything that happened in his lifetime.
