Our server host has told us that there seems to be a major router upstream from where the server is located that is having serious problems, which may affect the usability of the board if you happen to go through that router to reach it. If the router dies, the board may even be unreachable for a time until it's routed around.

So, if you come across intermittent slowdowns, lack of connection, etc. to the board or Westeros.org, that's probably why.
