Sorry for the long wait, been busy:P

Idea inspired by Maester Yobjascz, this time we're going to let y'all put a crown on yourselves. As we all know, this mod is focused on the War of the Five Kings, a time when all sorts of people are calling themselves King.

After you have fulfilled certain conditions, your nobles will become restless and sick of serving Baratheons, when their oath was sworn to the Targaryens. You will be given the choice to ascend:

If all conditions are met and you choose to declare yourself King, you will be crowned the next turn. You will enjoy all sorts of advantages such as a shiny new title, special Crown ancillaries, higher global standings, and various hidden effects, but also take heart that other self-styled Kings will not be pleased by new competition.

As the timing and choice is given to the player, you can declare King boldly as soon as the conditions are met, or you can abide your time and make all your political maneuvers before claiming King. Or, you can lay low and keep to being a petty noble lord for the rest of your life. You can even take advantage of the system to avoid too severe diplomatic consequences, but that would be left for you to explore on your own.

Wait, is that it? Nah, there are many more aspects to the Kingship script, but it would be too spoiling to tell it all in one go. Hopefully we'll have time to talk about them soon. :)

Even though I haven't had time to participate as much as I'd like, I've been following the mod's progress. Looks like things are chugging along. Keep up the great work (and thanks for the credit)!

What conditions need to be met for the Starks to declare independence? Ive been playing for about 50 turns and hold the entire North as well as some settlements in the Riverlands. I really want to Declare Robb as king but don't know what else I need to do.

20,000 dragons in the treasury and you should be set.

Yup, that's correct.

I'd also like to add that the requirements will be changing in the final version. We have some ideas that will make it a little more complex and will vary by faction.

This still isn't working for me. Do the dragons have to be gained naturally, because I used the cheat to get over 20,000 dragons just to see what kind of screens come up to declare kingship, and after a few turns nothing has happened yet? I then started a new campaign to test it out and used the cheat in the first turn to get over 20,000 dragons to see if that worked and nothing happened?

Did you click End Turn?

It's supposed to make the adviser pop up when you end the turn. You then have to click the "Show me How" button to accept Kingship.
