We wont see him much, just in flashbacks most likely. WHO can pull it off?

While it would satisfy me in some ways, He could in no way pull it off. The age difference is to much. Rhaegar was in is mid twenties at his latest when he died.

What about Dolorous Edd?  I totally agree that Bruce Campbell needs to be involved, though obviously/probably in a minor role.

Though, at this point, for Rhaegar I'll take anyone who isn't Orlando Bloom :P

I don't think Rhaegar is that challenging a role.

Ah, the poetry. Brings out tears in me. Mostly form laughing.

But i am convinced that Rhaegar is one of the most pivotal characters to the story. Though yeah for the first five seasons (xtreme optimism) he'll have it easy.  :D

That's true that we might get enough for an extended flashback, where he'll actually have to be more than Mr Idealized Heroic Aura Man ... I guess they'll have to confer with GRRM on that one.

Most of the time you'll only see Rhaegar fully kitted out in his armour in the battle on the Trident. Any warm body of appropriate size will do.

You know, 10 minutes ago I had my doubts, but now I'm convinced.
