Ok so we know the Words for the Great Houses:-

House Stark         - Winter is Coming
House Tully          - Family, Duty, Honour
House Lannister    - Hear me Roar!
House Arryn         - As High as Honour
House Baratheon   - Ours is the Fury
House Tyrell          - Growing Strong
House Targaryen   - Blood and Fire
House Martell         - Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken
House Greyjoy       - We do not Sow

Those are some pretty cool Words. They sum up the character of the House, use important themes from their arms or backgrounds, and of course have a nice ring to them.

Did GRRM mention the Words for any of the Lesser Houses like the Freys? If he did, please add them to the list. If NOT, let's try to come up with some appropriate ones. For instance:-

House Frey           - We are the Weasels
House Clegane      - Mad to the Bone

(Those are just examples and I'm sure someone can do better than that.)

He doesn't mention the Freys' words, but others he mentions include:

Codd: Though All Men Do Despise Us
Fowler: Let Me Soar
Hightower: We Light The Way

The ones mentiones by you and Paxter, plus de Targy "Fire and Blood" are all the canon ones I can think of (meaning they appear in teh books).

The Citadel includes a list of other mottoes that George have thought of  here. Many of them are very cool.

I think it would be great if George could think of a few more and include them all in the world book (specially the missing important houses, such as Boltons, Freys, Brackens, Blackwoods, Florents,...)

Funny thing I noticed. The citidel indicates that the Tarly words are "First in battle". Not really appropriate for Sam until you think about the fact that, despite it being totally unlikely, he is the first to kill an other. Sounds like fate to me.

Who here hates "Hear Me Roar!"? I think "A Lannister Always Pays His Debts" is better. Vastly. Hear Me Roar is just cheesy. Blelkk!

I always thought for some reason the Bolton's words were that cool line Roose said.  "A naked man has few secrets, a flayed man has none."  Or something of that nature.

No clue why I thought it was there words.  Just sounded like something very Boltonish.

It was just "something he said." Perhaps it's a saying among the Boltons. They would make good words, although the whole quote a little long methinks, which is why I shortened it.
