I just realized that Bubonicon is this weekend down in Albuquerque. If you haven't been to a Bubonicon and live within 500 miles, get in the car and we'll see you this weekend.

This is a fine little con, great GoH this year, Mike Cassutt, an old friend of ours, long time TV writer/producer, stalwart member of the Wild Cards Consortium, biographer of astronauts and all around creative genius. Carrie Vaughun is the TM, and the artist GoH, Peri Charliflu is a tremendous talent; I've got several pieces of his pottery, and since I've got the car and can fill up the back of the Prius with more, I'm doubly delighted that Peri will be honored at this year's Bubonicon.

George's reading is scheduled for 5pm Friday if I have the correct info.

The fan/pro ratio is really fine, the hotel likes us, and I can guarantee some lively panels, great parties and lots of good times, especially if you all join us.

Guess I better get off the computer and go do some laundry and house cleaning.

So..... did any boarders attend Bubonicon? I'm in the wrong country to have gone, but I was hoping that if anyone went, they'd post a con report. Also what chapter did GRRM read?
