However I also switched out Ba, for Graham (rather than Cisse) and have Baines, who got a goal and a clean sheet, in second spot on the bench, meaning he only plays if two of Evans, Valencia and Young don't play at all tomorrow.

Yeah, my point haul isn't in any way remarkable in aboslute terms. But becuase it's a low scoring gameweek, 53 points is actually pretty decent.

The bonus fell kindly for me today, with Suarez © and Mata both picking up 3. Kind of funny that 3 players on Arsenal all got 2 bonus points. Too bad Wolcott didn't get any, though judging by the Guardian's text updates he had a pretty quiet game (I wanted to listen via Radio 5 Live while out cycling today, but there were rights restrictions for North America on this game, bleh).

It feels like boxing day with these back to back gameweeks! When you have a bad gameweek, it's great when a new one starts right away.

Yep. I forgot to do mine last week, but managed to escape relatively scot-free. It's going to be tricky to navigate the next two weeks, with all the blanks this week followed by doubles 2 weeks after. At least you'll have an extra trade banked now, baxus!

i guess i have to be happy with 58 points and a win in my head-to-head league.
but to make sure not everything is great, arteta got injured in the opening 5 minutes of the match and now i'll probably have to replace him.

also, am i the only one who hates those "week highest" assholes with a passion of a thousand burning suns?
this week it's not so bad, with the guy scoring the highest being in the top 5-6 thousand players, his team's value over 110M and all that, but usually it's just some random asshole who got incredibly lucky

I've had an unspectacular few weeks, although solid enough.  Cisse and Rooney have done well for me.  It's a pity I didn't have the balls to make Cisse my captain because he has been a more consistent scorer than Rooney and Van Persie in recent weeks.

This week I left some high-scoring defenders on the bench but I think most of us fell prey to that.

It sounds like I need to replace Walcott now but I'm not sure that anyone else is in blinding form.

cisse as captain - not as bad a choice as it looked after first match they played this gameweek, especially when at the last moment i changed my captain from suarez to cisse.

other than that, leaving kompany and reo-coker on the bench did turn out to be mistakes. i figured there would be much more goals in manchester derby and reo-coker did next to nothing all season long.
had i put the 2 of them in instead of valencia and simpson, i'd have broken the 100 points margin.

I looked like I was on for a massive game week after the first round of fixtures. I had Torres as my captain, Suarez, and the other Chelsea players wracked up points. However, with Suarez dropped, chelsea not performing, and generally other players not doing much, I ended up with a very good but not spectacular gameweek.

I won't be able to match last season when I finished in the top 5,000. This was probably my last chance to get there.

Congrats.  You basically wrapped up the Westeros league with that week.

It looks like I'll finish second in my first season of fantasy football but it feels like I was a runner-up all season long.  I was second to Abu Dhabi in the early months, then traded first and second back and forth with Fighting Talk until Blackacre emerged to lead in the latter part of the season.

It was a lot of fun but I haven't watched any games or highlights in 2012 because I was so depressed about Liverpool.  So I was late to pick up on any changes in form for players.

I'm a bit disappointed by my finish after a great middle.

Still, it's easily my best season in six years of playing so it's all good really.

Great season, everone! I sort of slumped over the finish line. This season wasn't as good as last year's I had a torrid time for the first few months and through Christmas. I finally started to get it right at the end, however, and am very pleased to win westeros for the third year running. Great playing with you guys!

Any interest in fantasy euros? I'm burned out on fantasy now, but I may be up for it by the time the tournament rolls around.
