About to move onto either Deadwood or Six Feet Under as I've heard great things about both. Wasn't sure about Deadwood with HBO canceling it in Season 3.

Was disappointed with the first two episodes of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (and I think I might be the biggest fan of the show on the board), but the last two episodes were pretty darn good.
I'll use this thread as another chance to declare my love for the UK show Gavin and Stacey. Freaking hilarious.
If you're not watching Terriers you're missing out on the best new show this season, it's fantastic.

This weekend just gone I watched all of True Blood season 3 - I tell you, watching an entire season in a few days or a week is so much better than one or two a week. Now all I have to do is resist downloading my favourite 30 or so shows and wait for the mid-season break to get my first fix.

Jebus is a Lilo & Stitch fan? Wouldn't have guessed that one. Fun movie though
And yeah, I regret not watching True Blood Season 3 in one hit. Probably would have made Sam, Lafayette and Jessica's storylines drag a bit less than they did when watching from week to week.

There was just a lot of things done right, from the troops singing upbeat, popular culture songs whilst driving past destruction and death or to naming an episode 'The Cradle of Life' and starting the episode with a low camera angle on all the Humvees driving in formation, only catching glimpses of the tires and doors. That sort of juxtaposition is what I love most about series like Generation Kill.
The acting was also bloody brilliant. The four guys in the leading Humvee: Iceman, Ray, Reporter and Whopper Jr really pulled it off.

Could you explain the "too 'feel good'" comment to me? I've seen the series a few times, and I may be misremembering the ending here, but I think the last thing I'd say was that it was feel-good.

I really enjoyed season 3 because it gets more and more outrageous with the sex and violence with every episode. Plot-wise, not so much. Unless the loose ends and character trajectories are a set-up for an explosive season 4, then I'm

Probably going to take some time shortly to also watch the Harry Potter movies now that the first part of the finale is going on the big screen in a week and ahalf.
