ABCs Wipe Out. When I first saw an ad for the show I thought "who the hell would watch something that stupid and pointless" - and apparently the answer to that question is that I will and it will make me lol. I'm sorry, I do feel guilty, but it is sooooo funny.

Re: porn. I'm hoping most people don't really see it as a guilty pleasure.

I have a weakness for shoujo manga.

Also I unashamedly love Phineas & Ferb. What makes this a GUILTY pleasure is that Candace is my favourite character.

Sex and the City.  It's actually a pretty entertaining show.  And it makes me look forward to my thirties.  ;)

E! is actually amusing. I watch Fashion Police to mock the criticism, and Girls of the Playboy Mansion because it's just really funny to watch dumb blondes. I refuse, however, to take part in the "I used to be famous, what's up with that, I wanna still be famous, REALITY TV SHOW WOOO" trend that has been going on. It's not a guilty pleasure any more than murdering clowns is.

I listen to Maximo Park (if anyone knows them). I always feel weird playing their songs out loud but still love them.
I play maplestory. Look it up on google. I am 18 years old.

Please don't judge me.

I'm pretty sure it was GHOST ADVENTURES on the Sci-Fi Channel (or SyFy :o as they call themselves now). This is a show where in one episode the main Ghost Hunter gets bored with bumbling about in some condemned building so FOR NO DISCERNIBLE REASON they decide to just film his attempts to pick up a snake he finds in some adjacent field.

I even think they mocked that episode on THE SOUP.

Aye, that's it -- on the Travel Channel not SF. I watched the live Halloween episode and heard some spooky stuff, but you never can tell. I like them better than some of the other Ghost teams - except for Ghost Hunters, I just like Grant for some reason, :dunno: .
The episode in Penhurst was super spooky.

And rightly so. How they can make an entire series about "bumbling about in a condemned building" and people ACTUALLY WATCH IT is mind boggling.

*cough* :leaving:

Yeah, no matter how much I rip on shows like that, I'm still there next week.

Someone mentioned NOSTRADAMUS specials a few pages back and I still get a kick out of those as well. I blame one I saw as a kid that was hosted by Orson Welles. His deep, deadly serious narration of society's prophecied fall into pack cannibalism combined with 70's Sci-Fi style paintings of said cannibals freaked me right the hell out. Lightening hasn't struck again on that front sadly. Maybe if they got Ian Mackellan or Laurence Fishburn to narrate one. I'd say Morgan Freeman, but Road Warrior cannibals shouldn't be poignant and/or soothing.

I think everything I watch is a guilty pleasure. I don't want to learn anything when I watch TV, I want to make myself dumber.

Ghost Adventurers, why not?

House Hunters, which house will they pick?

Iron Chef, oooo.... I'd like to eat that.

Girls Next Door, is anyone really that stupid?

Celebrity Ghost Stories, well I did always want to know about Sammy Hagar's brushes with the paranormal.

Rock of Love is fascinating because I don't understand how anyone could possibly find Brett Michaels attractive.

True Life on MTV.

The worst though, is probably 18 Kids and Counting. I only watch it when my husband isn't home, though.

Bad books. In particular urban fantasy/paranormal romance. Although less of that lately, as I've grown increasingly intolerant of it. Some Warhammer stuff. Some Forgotten Realms. Some Star Wars (although I'm not at all guilty about Matt Stover's stuff. I bought a Starcraft novel last month.

Comics by Mark Millar.

Various trashy movies. Let's see, just watched Jennifer's Body (I always thought succubi, like, killed via sex. Now I know that what they do is take off their victim's pants and then disembowel him and feast upon the spilled entrails and newly exposed internal organs. Always learning), going to see Event Horizon and Doomsday in the next couple days. Although I'm watching at least in part to laugh at them, so I dunno if that really counts.

Various fluffy pop music; Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Kay Perry, N Sync, Backstreet Boys, Paramore, etc, etc (actually, I'm starting to understand Hollywood's obsession with all things eighties, as I'm now pretty fond of all the pop songs that made me groan when I was in high school). On the other end of the spectrum, REALLY DARK AND EMOTIONAL SONGS from groups like, say, Korn or Staind or whatever.

Well, I guess I can always go google the subject. I'll go do that.

First and foremost, One Tree Hill and Prison Break.

OTH - I'm a guy, I shouldn't be watching.
Prison Break - Same thing every damn episode, but watching them on DVD I can never stop in the middle of an unresolved plot-line.

I believe the show is called Mantracker?  Comes on CityTv here back to back with Departures.  It's on Fridays and I'm sad to say that if I get started on that tandem everything gets put on hold for the 2 hours until its done.  And there are many things I should be doing Friday nights instead of watching tv.

Why guilty about Maximo Park? I think they're a fairly average indie band, but I don't see much reason to be ashamed about listening to them.

Anybody watch "Pawn Stars"? It's basically "Antique's Road Show" but with rednecks.

The was a marathon on a few weeks ago and I watched all of them.

Yes. Truly a beast. Internet standards of attractiveness always fascinate me.

For me, I guess it's The Game Show Network. Have to get my Chuck Woolery fix.

Come on.  I know you got 'em.  I'm talking super guilty, not, "oh, hee hee, I like American Idol" type of lame stuff.  I'm talking about Little House on the Prairie, DeGrassi the Next Gen, and Grey's Anatomy type of crap.

Dig in.  Fly that freak flag.

When I can, I really enjoy the WWE and all other associated wrestling programs. It may not be real but it is still very, very entertaining. To be fair to the "wrestlers", they are very talented at what they do to not come off ultimately fucked up physically.
