From spoilertv.com:

Quote

Episode 08: “The Pointy End”:
In  the aftermath of Nedʼs capture, Syrio and Arya face off against  Lannister guards, while Cersei manipulates Sansa to her own ends. Robb  rallies his fatherʼs northern allies against Tywin Lannister and heads  south to war. Tyrion forms an uneasy alliance with the hill tribes and  reunites with his father. Jon lashes out at Thorne and battles a  mysterious attacker from beyond the Wall. Dany is forced to reconcile  her desire to conquer Westeros with Drogoʼs savagery after the Dothraki  raid a peaceful village. (Written by George R.R. Martin; directed by  Daniel Minahan.) Playdates: June 5, 7, 8, 11 and 15

Episode 09: “Baelor”:
With  Sansaʼs life in danger, Ned makes a fateful decision. Catelyn brokers  an unsavory deal with the slippery Walder Frey. Tyrion acquires a  mistress and is forced by his father to fight on the front lines. Robb  wins his first major victory and captures a prized prisoner. Jon is  rewarded for his valor and discovers a dark secret about Maester Aemon.  As Drogoʼs wound festers, Dany defies Qotho and puts her trust in the  enslaved witch Mirri Maz Duur. (Written by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss;  directed by Alan Taylor.) Playdates: June 12, 14, 15 and 18

Episode 10: “Fire and Blood”
As  tragic news spreads across the Seven Kingdoms, Bran and Rickon share a  prophetic dream, Catelyn interrogates Jaime about her sonʼs fall, and  Robbʼs destiny is forever changed. After a surprising decision by his  father, Tyrion heads south. Meanwhile, Arya assumes a new identity in an  attempt to escape Kingʼs Landing, and Sansa is terrorized by Joffrey.  At the Wall, Jon is forced to choose between the Nightʼs Watch and the  family he left behind. Across the sea, Dany pays a terrible price for  her love, but finds new hope. (Written by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss;  directed by Alan Taylor.) Playdates: June 19, 21, 22 and 25

Interesting to read about the dream that Bran and Rickon share. Maybe there will be another dream or flashback scene after all. And I'm very much looking forward to Maester Aemon's revelation in episode 9 - it's a great scene in the novel.

interesting to see that there is one episode by GRRM, are there any other episodes that he wrote for the series?

Not in this season, but he's already said that in Season 2, he'll be writing

Why are they moving the pivotal Riverrun dungeon scene up a season? Or at least, that's what it sounds like.

To give a more dramatically satisfying season ending perhaps? It also has the added benefit of giving more room for ACOK in season 2.

How would they do that?  They're on opposite sides of the river.

That's just speculation, based on the fact that they havn't cast Edmure for season 1. But I believe the idea  is that the scene would still be there

They are separate sentences so I don't think you can infer this from the Ep summary. If there was an "and" in there then you could draw that conclusion.

Looks like Ep 8 will feature the scenes I've been looking forward to the most- (1) the one with Syrio and (2) Jon fighting the you know what.

Can't wait!

Are you telling me Rickon is going to have to act in Episode 10? I thought he wasn't capable of that and if he is is, WHERE THE HELL IS HE?

I'm reliably informed that Rickon has lines of dialogue in episodes 8 and 10. He has already made a couple of appearances during episode 1 in the Bran archery practice and king's arrival scenes.

It is a shame he is only in three episodes of the season but that is certainly not because Art Parkinson cannot act which I'm sure we'll see when we get there.

I just feel people aren't gonna be all that touched when Rickon's first lines in the series are gonna be saying goodbye to Robb.

It's going to be a little kid saying good bye to his big brother with tears and stuff, pretty sure it's going to be touching

Weird, why is everybody using spoiler tags and/or talking in code.  This thread is labeled 'TV SPOILERS Episode Summaries.'    Or am I missing something that everybody else knows about what can and can't be said here?  :dunce:

It doesn't say book spoilers.  It probably should have both.

I am curious, do we know if any of if rickard karlstark is cast yet, i believe that is the guy who is the head of the karlstarks. Greatjon seems to have been cast according to winter-is-coming, but not sure about any of the other northern bannermen.

tv.com has episode guides. It does contain spoilers in the episode guides so don't go there if you don't want to know.
However, since I have read the books, I was curious.
