Do any of you wish for all of Westeros to bend to Dany?

And no. I don't want anyone to bend the knee to Dany.

However, I want the whole situation to seem bittersweet. She may be Queen, but her line is finished. Barring Jon being both a bastard Targ and recognized as such, House Targaryen is over. I want the implication to be there that once a generation or two passes and she dies, the whole feuding over who controls Westeros in the absence of the Royal House that created the regime will be renewed, with the strong possibility of the Seven Kingdoms fragmenting into smaller kingdoms.

That ending would totally ruin everything I liked in the series (like how the Harry Potter ending ruined the entire series).

I think restoration of the Targaeryn line would be a good thing. The reason Aerys went mad was from generations of in-breeding. But as Jorah said Dany is much more Rhaegars sibling than Aerys' son. As long as she has no siblings to bang the Targ line should be cool to rule. Also Dany coming from a non royal upbringing and having to earn her throne should make her more fair and balanced.

I actually think seven autonomous kingdoms would be better for everyone then trying to run all seven out of KL. I'll take Dany over a Lannister or Tyrell any day if it comes to that though.

A Targaryen ruler as an idea is good, since they're outsiders to the great houses and as such have no allegiances or alliances to uphold, making them the most neutral choice for kingship overall. But I don't think Dany is the one they need (or Jon for that matter).
Bronn should end up as king, probably.
But Dany ending up Queen with (potentially) Jon by her side would be such a fairytale ending I'd be pretty pissed

Westeros needs a ruling house that's not involved with the traditional feudal rivarly, someone who is over the parts and that can force rule of the law from a position of authority. Westeros nobility have shown quite clearly that it's not able to express a king and to rule the continent without external aid.
About rapers and pillagers: are you sure that you have finished the first book? The dotraki are not with Dany anymore and the unsullied are not rapers or pillagers by definition. The only rapers and pillagers that have fight in westeros were lead by Tywin Lannister and Roose Bolton...

My favourite ending would be if the North would become independent.
As others said Dany dont know anything about Westeros at all. She is barren, the last legitimate Targ, which means even if she ends up on the throne, after her death there would be a civil war as others said., So far she only showed any ability in conquering cities, in the gowernment department she was more than chatastrophic. So I dont even see how could she actually gowern a whole continent when she has so much problem with a single city.
As others said the reason the Targs were kings was because of the dragons. And the reason why Aerys was overpowered was because the dragons were dead. Great now what if after one or two generations the dragons are dead again. There is no garantee that they will live this time. And when they die we are back to what already happened.
My problem with a Targaryen rule is that that is history-repeating. Westeros was already there once, and there was a reason why it failed. It would be like after years of civil war the people of Westeros deiceded that being unchanged is the best. Rejoice!

They also need a ruling house that will actually survive for more than one generation. Dany is barren and has no children. Roman and Medieval history suggests that this means another major war will start as soon as Dany dies.
Stannis is the only military leader with an army that didn't rape and then again, only because he cut off rapists balls.

Are you so sure that Dany is barren? We do not know. Mirri said so but what if she's wrong or meant another thing? Moreover, it's pretty likely that there will be more targs out there, at least 1: R+L, maybe Aegon, maybe even some blackfires. Dany have just to raise her dragons and rule some years.
Dany has never raped or pillaged anyone. When Mereen was sacked she cut the penis of rapers too. Stannis is a just man, a good lord and a good military leader... but he will never be a good king. He would rule like a tyrant and people/nobles would revolt against him after a few years.
Dany is the only hope of Westeros.

Stannis is religiously intolerant. Under Targs and Baratheons Old Gods and The Seven existed side by side and oaths were taken in both their names, even if The Seven were state religion. Stannis cuts down Weirwood and burns septres and wants people to follow his new religion. I somehow doubt that will go down well with people.

Frankly, I'd be happy if she died without ever seeing Westeros. She has had everything she has now handed to her, I would be pissed if she was just handed all of Westeros too in the end.
