I loved the graphic rape scenes in Temple of the Winds and Pillars of Creation, from the POV of the rapists. Bonariffic.

Who was raped in PoC? I sort of skimmed that particular installment.

Oba Rahl just went around raping and killing pretty much anyone. He was one sick bastard.

Ahh, I didn't much care for Obo's roll, so I really didn't read it. PoC was anti-climatic in general.

I give up. Can´t.... take....it....any....mooooore.....

So i´ve listened to Temple of ye´olde switcheroo moonblood bj:s.

I broke down and deleted all the files from my mp3 player this moring.

How the hell can he write an entire chapter where Nadine and Kahlan sit and tell each other what a great guy Raacchharghh is? No concrete examples, only that he was a loner whom all the girls wanted to bang for no reason other than that he was "different". And yeah, he punched out the front teeths of some guys who was going to rape Nadine... Who wouldn´t stop a rape?

So, first Kahlan and Cara need to have a 10 page long discussion about how great Richard is, then Richard needs to tell everybody how great he is, then Nadine and Kahlan do the same.

I really thought i could do this. Listen to this on my office hours, and read ADWD at home. But no. It´s too much.

real:
Hi gang.  Just before the last thread was 'extraordinary renditioned', I gave TG a recap of our gives and hos.  This is direct from Terry Goodkind himself:

"Yeard here. I have come to discover, only just recently, how the people here [Westeros] have for years been disrespected. I was truly upset to hear about it. I have always asked my readers, and former webmasters, to please be respectful of other authors and their fans. I thank goodomens for bringing this whole situation to my attention so that I could put in a word to hopefully set the record straight. (Hard for this writer to come up out of the pages to look around.) I love books, and I deeply appreciate people who read. The joy of reading is not found in a single author, but in a variety. Mr. Martin, for example, is a remarkably talented writer. I'm honored to be included among the variety of authors my readers enjoy. I can certainly understand why people on this site have felt the way they have. No hard feelings on my part if you don't become fans of my work. I thought, though, that it was important for you to hear directly from me that I'm sorry offensive things were done or said in my name. It's not my style and against everything I stand for."

NOT REAL:
...He then uncrossed his fingers, peeled off his latex bald cap (revealing a gorgeous hem of hair that fell below his shoulders and, oddly, across his lip and chin), flashed me his raptor eyes, and demanded I never bring him 'internet busyness' again because, "Some of us have to WORK. That is because we are PRODUCERS, and not lazy PARASITES who are trying to profit off the hard labor of another."  I left cold, starved, weakened, but resilient... determined to find the return path -- if only to get his message to you all.  Er, that explains why he gave me this message many days ago and you only now finally get to read it.

real:
But really, Terry is a very cool guy and is passionate about writing, his fans, readers, and celebrates the craft overall.  What did you guys think of the Hannis Arc passage from THE OMEN MACHINE?  If you disband the Lemmings, I suggest "The Nikes" or maybe "Googlers of Search".  If we put that on a shirt we're scruuuuuuuwd.

It was me.  I'll be doing the honors for the new book as well.  I have a contact at a bookstore who will smuggle me a copy so as not to feed the yeard.

A confusing jumble of run-on containing way to many adjectives.

Irony:

The individual who came to inform us that the person who held his job previously made posts in Mister Goodkind's name absent authorization is now making post in Mister Goodkind's name.

Good Omens: I very much enjoy your avatar and appreciate the effort you are making. The above statement is not a shot leveled at your credibility, I just have a very dry sense of humor and was tickled by the aforementioned irony.

I don't understand the "irony".  The person that came before, hurling insults and claiming to be representative of Goodkind -- was not, ever.  I am here, plainly stating who I am and what is my own doing; unofficially, officially, off-the-record-like.  Then I posted a quote direct to you, from Terry.. which is, by the way, verified: http://www.terrygood...heatsheet.shtml

But I also like dry humor. With two olives.  (Edit: just re-read this and it came across as just a little too dry.  Full reply meant to be read in good humor!)

I don't know, every time I try to reply to your post I feel like I am attacking the credibility a rather pleasant individual who is making a personal, rather then professional, effort to patch old wounds. That isn't my goal.

So I will just sit silently with my very odd sense of human and chuckle and thing no one else things is funny.
