Songs that define a character or can even work as a theme song for a character.

Melisandre- Fire by Arthur Brown

Coldhands- Who Are You? by The Who

Cersei- Evil Women by ELO

Victorian- Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin

Littlefinger - Goldfinger Theme (hell you could just replace 'gold' with 'little')

I realize this is a light topic, but I think it would help if the song's subject matter actually related to the characters. Master of Puppets for Littlefinger is probably the most ridiculous thing possible.

Dude(Looks Like a Lady) is genius for Brienne though. So is Who Let The Dogs Out.

Comin' Under Fire by Def Leppard might be good for somebody, dunno who though.

Pour Some Sugar On Me for Tyrion, anyone? :P

I could probably find a really good song for practically every character, but I'm tired, so.

Walls of Innocence by Egypt Central would be good for Sansa I think.

I'm new to the ASoI&F series...I had read Littlefinger was the 'mastermind' behind the War of 5 kings on the wiki of Fire & Ice, so that's why I thought he might've been a candidate for 'puppet master'.  I'd like to see Peter Dinklage do some pole dancing to 'Pour Some Sugar', though (although I would probably later regret having watched...).

Tyrions song has to be Pearl Jam - Alive. I can just see him walking down the road from the Vale arm in arm with Bronn singing "Oh I, oh, I'm still alive". And it only gets better the further along in the books we get, his plot armor is thick  :lmao:

Actually the more I look at the lyrics, the better it fits. I can't get the spoiler code to work (at least if I preview the post it doesn't turn into a spoiler but the spoiler tags are written as plain text, is that how it is suppossed to look in preview?), but there is something in the lyrics that fits very nicely into something that is hinted at in ADWD.

Sansa is obviously "I need a hero" by Bonnie Tyler, at least while she is in kings landing.

Davos is "I'm on a boat" by The Lonley Island.

Jaime is "Without Me" by emminiem

Mumford and Sons "Little Lion Man" for Tyrion.  More for the title than the actual song lyric though.

Agree with whoever said Mumford and Sons' Little Lion Man for Tyrion.

I always explain Brienne's character to people by singing Taylor Swift's You Belong With Me.

Sarah McLachlan's Full Of Grace always makes me think of the Starks, and I can't listen to any version of U2's One without thinking of Jaime and Cersei.

Robert Baratheon -- Wenches and Mead by Alestorm

Robb/Ned Stark -- Empire Falls by Primordial

Gregor Clegane -- Temple of Depression by Celtic Frost

Victarion Greyjoy -- Leviathan by Alestorm

Theon Greyjoy -- My Name is Mud  by Primus

I had a few more of these in an earlier thread, but for some reason the search function doesn't work.
