We could either meet up before the movie or after...that way if people didn't want to see the movie they could just come for the eating/drinking part. But it looks like it comes out July 3rd (a Tuesday) so the weekend would be July 7/8. Then Batman comes out the July 21/22 weekend.Even if we didn't see the movies I guess I'd still throw out the weekends of July 7/8 and July 21/22 as possible dates for meeting up.Then just fyi, other events going on around the Chicagoland area this summer....Newberry Book Fair (July 26 - 29). lady narcissa Posted June 19, 2012 Share Posted June 19, 2012 I did some investigating and apparently Batman tickets have been on sale for awhile now and as a result many showings on that first weekend are already sold out. Who knew! So it might not be something that will work out at the rate we are planning things.I also realized I'll be volunteering at set up at the Newberry on July 21 which takes up the entire day for me so that is out now. So if we are looking Saturday late afternoons (which is what we've tended to do in the past)....I've only got Saturday June 30th, August 4th, or at Comic Con on August 11th. I'd probably have a few Sunday afternoons free that might be better. Or if anyone can do a weekday after work in the Loop I would have more availability.
