Looks like Gilly has been cast. She's Hannah Murray from Skins. Here is something from her talent agency that has her listed as Gilly

Now that they've cast a British actress for a wildling role, does this mean that they'll be going for British actors for the whole spectrum of Wildlings? Hope so!

British actors are very good. In addition, the series is filmed in Ireland, travel issues is better than people caught nearby.

Indeed, as I said in another post. I wish that the series creators invented an incestuous relationship between Cersei and Joffrey. Sounds like a great idea for those two characters sickly. Still I have hopes that they can. HBO is the only one who can.

I was so sure they were going to cut that subplot to make more room to add Robb scenes, but apparently they're not going to do that. It'll be interesting to see what makes it into season 2 and what doesn't then.

I'm not sure how in any way that would help the series along.

That actress definitely does have the innocent expression I would picture when she is going to Jon to ask for help.

Both happy and disappointed with this casting. I'm happy Hannah is on the show. She's one of my favorite young actresses form England at the moment, but I'm a bit disappointed that she didn't get a bigger role. I had hoped she would be Ygritte.

It brings no, but not a bad idea. Cersei is a manipulative, she uses her son as a pawn crazy. Nobody would be surprised to have sex with her young son Joffrey.

Anyway, it is impossible that the creators will do it. It's a crazy idea.

In other nerd-related news, Ms. Murray was in a deleted scene in a fantastic little movie called In Bruges with some people in Harry Potter and Doctor Who.
