I think the reason GRRM never did much with her is because Brienne already occupied that archetype?The role is incredibly tiny, I doubt she is a member of the cast.Appearance-wise, I always imagined her to look a bit like Odette Annabele/Yustman. I don't think Gwendoline Christie looks like how they describe Brienne in the books either, but based on the glimpses we've seen so far, they have changed her appearance into something that will be faithful to the character.Likewise with Yustman, she has the basic raw materials (height, hair color & length, lean build and limbs) as they are described in the novels but they would need to toughen her up a bit to look more fierce and warrior-like. I am freaking head over heels for Lyanna Mormont and Wylla Manderly...they have even less than 3 paragraphs, to my memory. As it is, I'd love to see any Mormont woman/girl in season 5.
