I realize that there have been many threads on the subject of 'who is your favorite character''. But there's never been a verdict, something like a conclusion on who the most popular character in the series is. So I'd like you to write a couple of your favorite characters and I'll daily keep record of votes. I'll start. JAIME, ARYA, LITTLEFINGER.

Tough to say, because the characters that we have the strongest feelings about and become favorites will usually also inspire their share of detractors, so the love and hate tend to balance each other out.  A character that inspires universal love or good feeling will have to be fairly innocuous, ruling out pretty much all POV characters.  Look to someone that combines comic relief with a kind heart, like Dolorous Edd or Hot Pie.  Can't imagine much hate for either of those guys.
