I do like a lot of the characters as far as characters go but I wouldn't call them "beloved."  (I dig Victarion and Ramsay as characters but they're clearly not good people)

Thanks guys for your votes!! SO FAR, Tyrion is first with 34 votes, followed by Arya(31) , Jaime (25), Jon (24), the Hound (24), Sansa(24) and Dany (16). At about 10 votes are: Dolorous Edd, Brienne, Asha, Bran, Davos and Stannis. I am surprised by how few people voted for Ned and Robb..Anyway, hopefully, there'll be some more voting and we'll have the final results!!!!

Varys. Why is there no love for Varys? He's the one in charge and the only one to be left standing when all is done.

And with dance of dragons, the three-eyed-crow (I guess his real identity would count as a spoiler, though), I can't wait to see what that team is up to... And how the heck he got where he is now.

Sam is my #1 person in the series. It's tough to feel the same connection to him on the show, but when you can see things from his point of view its hard not to root for him.

Jon is my second fav, because his story is the most entertaining and he's another hardluck guy who's hard not to root for. But I mean who else has had an adventure that's taken them to the wall, past it and back again to encounter others, wildlings, giants, and mamoths? His story is simply the best story in the series thus far.

and third I gotta go with Arya. She's basicly my little sister reincarnated. smart ass tough chick.
