For instance he likens the combat in the Game of Thrones RPG to Knights of the Old Republic, where it doesn't completely pause the game when you give orders, but slows down time considerably.

Ugh. This is bad. The guy who said this is Studio Director Yves Bordelea. Ignoring the fact that this guy has a name I can't even pronounce, I'm fairly certain he's never even touched KotOR, because anyone who's played that would know the game does pause completely to issue orders. I don't recall any slowmo- action in that game.

The story will also be akin to the style of the novels, switching back and forth between two playable characters. Famous characters from the novel series will appear in the RPG, but will not be playable.

So our two main characters won't even be characters from the books? So we're just playing like...a fanfiction. Cool. Also, great. All my favorite characters from the books will not be playable. Well, at least they're brutally honest.

According to the original story there will also be some choices that affect the story, with Bordelea stating that "some of your actions and choices will have consequences in the game story."

This could be cool, if it was scripted and the consequences were ones that actually happened in the books. Also, if it was an original idea, that every RPG and her mother's brother hadn't used already 20 times over.

I'm almost 100% sure my Alpha .53 Version of Westeros Total War will entertain me far longer than this Cyanide title.
