What could be the problem? Is there any chance I might still return to my old account if whatever logging in problem I had disappears, or, if the password was reset and sent to my now nonexistent old email address, has the account become completely inaccessible? Is there a staff email address that I can send mail to in case my problem returns and I can't even post my questions in Help with this new account?

When I click the 'sign in' button and fill in my name and password it returns me to..the default page. Not signed in.
If I reset my cache and restart my computer, as long as I'm at work I get the same non-error error.
If I take the same machine at work to a non-work network (like a wifi connection) I can log in without any issue. And I can stay logged in if I go to work and use the computer from there, now that I'm logged in. (until it logs me out again).
I've had it able to get me logging in correctly at work once - but only for one day.

Can someone help me with this (or direct me on what to do)?

Hey there, man. Long time, no see!
Anyway, there have been a couple of different instances where people lost their accounts (two or three different causes). I think the best thing to do is PM Ran, because he might be able to easily walk you through the steps to get your old account back.
