No - I apologise for not reiterating my warning about this: it'll have been buried deeper in the thread - if you want a free bus you must use the red London Transport buses and not the hotel shuttle.

ha.. a bit late to delurk..but ive been reading the forums etc for while now and only just now noticed the eastercon tread..me and my Gf will be attending Eastercon as well.. no idea what time we will arrive either today or tomorrow..but it would be fun to chat with some of you guys:..

Its probably walkable anyhow but I would have assumed that the normal hotel shuttle was free.

not sure if I read it on the con website or airport, but it said there is no pedestrian access to the airport.

OK, so things are all set for the weekend, we have guests and artists and horror flicks and minstrels for saturday night - don;t forget to dress up for prizes. The raffle looks awesome and is full of strange and geeky goodies And most importantly we have the bar menue fine tuned and ready to go for your delight and delectation

I am super jealous that I was not able to make it to Eastercon this year, the holiday just falls at a crappy time, right after quarter end, so slap bang in the middle of reporting for us.
