No, she is not. The Ghost of High Heart, the little dwarf woman Arya met there, she had eyes gleaming as red in the firelight as those of Jon's direwolf. And doesn't Moqorro have red eyes, too?
Melisandre is attractive despite red eyes and red hair. I would expect her hair and eye color to clash badly. So maybe she is one of a kind after all.

Lord Bloodraven, who is also red-eyed (he is an albino) says that red or green eyes are the mark of a greenseer...maybe she is a potential greenseer trained as a priestess?

If I remember correctly (Could be wrong here) but doesn't she have an accent? and sounds overall quite educated/lyrical? She also knows High Valyrian.
Granted, those traits can be adapted and learned after many many years in one place, but still, the wildlings have a tendency to be...relaxed with their grammar, speech and 'formal' education.
Then you have her general ignorance or disdain towards the Wildlings overall - added with the fact that she forced them to convert. Even if she was someone who was devoted in her faith of the Red God and has a avid reputation of trying to convert others, why desire to defeat and remove all aspects of your former culture - and without a hint of emotion?...especially if you had insider knowledge of the Wildings who would have their own useful insight on things. Again, maybe there is underlining plans, a deeper meaning going on, or perhaps Mel is just that disconnected after all, but that is just a basic thought.
Regarding the Red hair tidbit, whether she is fake or not, it just seems like a way for her to enhance her mystique/appearance - she did say how she regularly needs to keep up her image, having to appear powerful at all times by working on her magic and keeping guards around her. Red hair might just be an addition to her red dress, red eyes, red jewellery - red overall, signifying her obvious noticability and strength.

It is true that she doesn't seem to understand or like the Wildlings. My theory is that she was taken from them at a very young age so she hardly remembers (if at all) her time north of the Wall. That would explain everything about her knowledge, accent etc. I further speculate that her family was one of the few worshipers of R'Hllor north of the Wall (I can't remember where it is but I seem to remember Martin suggesting that such people exist).

You mean in the Novels? Because I don't recall anything about the Red Faith north of the Wall. In fact, all the Free Folk find the burning of the Old Gods quite bizarre. If there were Red Worshippers north of the Wall, at least some of the Wildlings would be acquainted with their beliefs.

There are a couple of bits where Jon encounters her in the dark; first when she appears to be Ygritte, and secondly and even more suspiciously when she seems to be red in the dark - which puzzles him as everything else is grey. Both clearly indicate a glamour.

It is noted also that Melisandre doesn't require a nice coatie eventhough everybody else is freezing. She seems to radiate heat. Very interesting.

She doesn't need to eat, or sleep much either. All of these seem to lead that Melissandre could well not be among the living.

That's also how I interpret the way she survives the attempt to poison her. If she's already dead any food or drink poured down her throat will simply pass through and out the other side without being absorbed into her system.
I've suggested before that she is the Fiery equivalent of a White Walker. Thus far the only thing that seems to kill White Walkers is dragonglass. I'm looking forward to finding out what kills Mel
