I would give it to Dany, in fact she looked so good I decided to watch the whole show which convinced me to read ASOIAF. The actress who played Cersci is mad sexy but the character looks so angry and mean. Cat and Lysa should look good (not old ladys). Sansa is to young to be beautiful (just like book 1) but im sure in season 3 and 4 she will be the hottest (just like book 3 and 4, good job HBO ). Margarey looks real sexy also. The actress who played Asha is ok, she should look better from what i have seen, but maybe not. Brienne is kinda cute! WTF! Mellisandre im curious to see what she looks like at. Jeyne Poole i think is Charlie Chaplins granddaughter, (why is she a character? I could see Westerling, but Poole so early?) Val and her sister i dont think will be in this season. What about Ygritte and Gilly, should they look good, Gilly should'nt right?(lol Stannis' quote "Get that baby out of here, this is'nt Kings Landing

Who looks the best as in whose casting was the best appearance wise?
S1: Dany, Ned, Jon, Robb, Cat, Arya, Bran all looked great. Sansa did too but I'm personally not too sure about the Queen-Amidala hair styles. Robert looked great. The Lannisters all looked fantastic, especially Cersei and Jaime. Lysa wasn't tubby enough.
S2: Margery looks amazing, so does Brienne (dw, I think they will be able to ugly the actress up a bit, they just needed someone REALLY tall), Stannis, Davos and Melisandre. Renly has definitely improved.

Catelyn. She SHOULD look "old", being the wife of Sean Bean and all. She looks both warm, tough and regal. And she's very pretty.

Khal Drogo. Yeah so he didn't have the appropriate moustaches, but other than that, totally spot on.

Jaime. Tall, well built, handsome (duh), and with that cocky grin. I even like how they made his hair shorter. He looks a bit more masculine than how i pictured Jaime, but I'm totally used to it now.

Jon. A bit more beardy, burly and curly than in the books. And good looking. But still!

Dany. Same thing. More tits and ass than in the books, but it so works. Her and Kits looks just scream "main characters".

Bran. Apart from the brown hair, spot fucking on! A bit afraid to see how much he has grown since season 2, though.

Lysa was supposed to be plump not skinny, however she was supposed to look aged due to her stress.

My main problem is the age, Robb and Jon should not be that old. And i could see Lysa looking old because of stress. But Cat? She pretends to be Ser Rodrik Cassel's daughter, and the singer that wanted to rape Sansa called her a granddaughter! Ser Rodrik Cassel is old, no doubt about it, and the singer was just nice, no doubt about it, but still Cat looks mad old! And I was wrong about Chaplin, sry

Whats with all the shoulds? Don't you know the characters have been aged up?

And if you do - again - does Catelyn look older than Ned? Does Jon and Robb look too old to.... what? I don't even know.

idk, maybe i just dont like Cat, so i dont like the actress? And Jon and Robb were like 14, not older than me. But whatever not that big of a deal, honestley they could all be ugly characters as long as Dany stays whatever the actress' name is lol

Natalie Dormer is gorgeous, although for series one I'd probably say that Doreah or Jaime looked best. I think Emilia Clarke really pulls off the blonde hair, though.

They had to age all of the children up, Dan and D.B. state it in a lot of interviews. I'm not sure how the audience would have responded to a 13 year old playing Dany what with all of the stuff her and Drogo get up to. If Robb and Jon stayed 14 then it would have looked quite silly on tv, it's not really a problem in the books, but 14 year old actors leading hosts to war would have been bizarre

I read somewhere that because of UK laws, Dany /had/ to be aged if they wanted to keep the sexual aspects of her relationship with Drogo in the series.

From what I imagined in the books - Jaime, Cersei, Margaery, Renly, Gerris Drinkwater, Benjen, Nymeria, Tyene, Rhaegar

From the show - BENJEN , Jaime, Robb, Sansa & from season 2 I'm pretty sure Margaery will look the best (Natalie is gorgeous <3)

First of all, I just want to say that this show is full good-looking men and women. Even the younger actors/actresses are lovely. I agree with whoever said Bran is going to grow up to be one very handsome fella.

Season 1: For the girls, Dany. I think Emilia Clarke is absolutely gorgeous. She is even more beautiful in real life with her natural dark hair. As a straight female, I can totally understand what guys see in her. Massive girl crush!
I also think Sansa (Sophie Turner) is going to grow up to be an incredibly stunning and beautiful lady. As for the smaller characters, Amrita Acharia, actress who plays Irri, is also very pretty. http://www.imdb.com/...28832/nm3822505

For the guys: Jaime, duh! Also Robb Stark, Richard Madden is hot, but I don't find the character of Robb to be hot . Also in that category, Harry Lloyd is a very pretty pretty man. Ser Jorah!!!  I find Sean Bean to be very attractive in real life, but Ned Stark, not so much. Can't forget Jon Snow, love the hair! Of course, Khal Drogo, Jason Momoa has been gracing me with his hotness since Stargate: Atlantis. As for smaller role characters, I think Jory Cassel is dreamy.
