Since the update to MediaWiki 1.17 on there is a new editor. While it works well for editing Wiki text, it has three features that do not work they all just hang with a loading image.though one can get out of the problem in the editor

1. When entering a link the Editor is supose to check if link exists in the uper right coner. It does not work it just as a busy icon rotating. This does not interfer with the creation of links;
   
2. The Preview button at the top of the Editor cause the textfield to go blank an a loading mesage to appear but the preview never appears. One can return to editing by pressing the wikitext button. One can see a preview by pressing the button under the text box,
   
3. The Changes button at the top of the Editor has the same problem as the Preview button. It can be handled the same way as the Preview button.
   

Are ther any ways to fix these problems?
