I did like Littlefingers speech and I suppose without Ros it wouldn't have happened. I don't mind the character so much as I mind the concept of making space for her at the expense of fan favorites that would have enriched the show.
Haven't looked for the original thread talking of Ros replacing Jeyne but I heartily disagree with the notion.
The North remembers enough to know that Ned Stark's youngest girl wasn't an adult woman kissed with fire and sultry.
Might be a certain someone ends up naming a hound after Ros in a future season.

I didn't like Ros either, but this reasoning is a bit silly. Even if they only kept Ros for that first scene with Tyrion and cut her out of the rest of the show, they still wouldn't have added the Blackfish. Ros being a bigger part on the show didn't cause the writers to cut out characters like the Blackfish, who hardly plays a large part. What does he do in the series that requires the show to include him? Yes, most of the scenes with Ros were bad and I wish she wasn't in season 2, but come on, the tv show has included every major character and tons of great minor characters--Dolorous Edd, Podrick, Greatjon. It just seems unfair to complain about the lack of some pretty minor characters when if anyone else was adapting Game of Thrones, so much more would have been cut.

The Blackfish scouted for Robb and was an all around cool guy, and he held Riverrun after the Red Wedding happened. He was very important to Catelyn, too and was a very trusted advisor.

Yeah, but like I said, none of that is essential for the show. There's no need to show him scouting, that's just a waste of screentime, and they already have advisors for Robb in the Greatjon and likely Roose Bolton this coming season, so adding the Blackfish just clutters it up. He's really only important to Catelyn when she thinks about him, which of course the tv show can't convey; they actually don't interact all that much in the series.
And speaking of Ros, if you watch the new trailer, looks like she has a scene with Joffrey this season. Not really looking forward to that.

She'll probably replace Alayaya.

At least they're giving her a plot this season instead of just sexposition scenes.
I hope she ends up marrying Jon Snow.

As for her character going forward, I think its pretty clear that she's going to be taking Alayaya place based on the tiny snippets of her in the trailers. After that, she's most likely to replace the character Kyra.

It is possible the show will go a different way with that storyline. That's not necessarily bad, though, most people on this site are sure to hate it, as they hate most other changes.
