Hello.

First time here so here goes...

I have just finished Dance with Dragons and have done some research, Martin has said that there will be no more new POV characters in the series.

There are some great side characters in the series and I am sad that we may never get into there heads, so are there any characters that you wish became POV?

I was happy Brienne became one in Feast with Crows though I am sure we all agree that Sander/ Hound would have made a great POV character...

Thoughts?

Beric Dondarrion, or really anyone in the Brotherhood Without Banners. They seem to be in the middle of a lot of action.

I think Ser Ilyn Payne would be interesting. Just because he doesn't talk, doesn';t mean he doesn't have ideas/ambitions etc.

The question that always surfaces for me is why no POV for Robb? (Plainly part of the answer is because you don't need both Robb and Catelyn, but even so... it's rather obvious that he's the only Stark child except baby Rickon not to get one.) Is it because GRRM wants us not to be too involved with Robb, or does it actually make us (some of us) care about him more? At least no one complains that he's a whiny teenager, or too self-pitying, like they do for Jon or Tyrion whose thoughts we see.

I don't really like him, in fact I despise him, but I want little finger to become a POV. I want to know his perspective, his greedy plans. He is an interesting character. Except I am not looking forward for his vulgar thoughts about Sansa.

No king has had a POV yet. I suspect that is the reasoning.

Just for fun Dolourus Edd or Tormund

For real Mance and even Osha might be interesting, we don't have any Free Folk

Hodor POV:

"Hodor," hodored Hodor, "Hodor hodored the hodor of hodor hodor in hodor."

I would've liked for someone with Gregor to have a POV, that would have been some interesting stuff and we could've seen Edmure's defense of the fords first hand.

I get why Robb never got a POV, but I would've liked him to have one. That's one change the show has made (giving Robb more prominence and making him a POV equivalent) that I agree with.

I'd like a Tyrell, Littlefinger or Varys POV, but I know why we don't have them.

i would like to see a POV chapter from someone in the Silent Sisters... to find out what their day-to-day lives are like... to see what circumstances got them to the Silent Sisters... and just in general to find out more about the order... seems very interesting to me...

Robb is a pretty obvious one. Would have been nice to have seen the whole wedding Jeyne thing through his eyes and hear his exact reasoning behind it. Sandor was one I was hoping for.

I really like the idea of a Hodor POV chapter :P I feel like he is the Silent Bob of this series. We'd see all of these eloquent and illuminating thoughts running through his head as he takes in the world around him, but unfortunately he is only able to express these unimaginably intelligent and insightful feelings with a quaint and simple "Hodor",

I second a Tyrell POV. I want to know what they're up to.
