Which character(s) wont make it to the end of the series and it makes you sad inside?

For me its Ser Barriston Selmy (spelling)

He is the tragic knight and I will mourn him

Arya will die doing something big. We will give her a viking funeral and shed silent manly tears.

Or something small. We did not have a POV character falling of the horse or catchig a mortal blood infection after cutting a finger.
Or icicles. We were warned that winter is coming all along. THAT could be an unconventional writing. And what a way for Arya to go

But if that happens, I personally will cut these lines out of the books and replace them with my own before lending it to anyone.

It still breaks my heart that Ned won't make it to the end. I will never get over it.

Jon (heh, surprise...)
I can't see him surviving this mess that is Martinworld. The only consolation is that he'll go out in a blaze of glory and save Westeros from the Others or Dany, or preferably both...well at least I hope Martin will give me that much...

If Arya dies, it will be a massive blow... and from what I read on other threads, she's one of the character quite everybody wants to see survive.

That is why I fear for her.

Tommen, Sansa and Myrcelle are ones that I'd be very sad to find dead on some future page.

I would be pretty upset if Brienne but the bullet, which is definitely a possibility. I do not know why but unlike most posters I really liked her POV's in AFFC and I would like to see her survive the series she deserves it. But of course in a world like Westeros that is pretty much irrelevant.

Jamie. I know he did a few terrible things (though significantly less then what most in Westeros think) but he has been trying to make good. More then that he has some of the best-written chapters and I enjoy rereading them more than just about any other overall. I suppose there is a chance he could make it all the way through but I highly doubt it and I'm really gonna miss him. More then that I get the feeling he'll die without anyone knowing the effort he made to redeem himself and will forever be hated.

I think Sandor will have a major comeback but he will die doing something heroic. I know he is not exactly model citizen, but I will be very upset when he dies.

As for a major character, I think Dany might die and I will be heart-broken because depsite her many flaws she is still one of my favorite characters.

I refuse to believe any more children(Bran, Rickon, Arya) or any inherently good people(Brienne, Davos) will die, but knowing GRRM, we will have to wait and see. :P

Indeed, and it's not unlikely he'll be a hero in the end, which is why he'll die.
Moreover: Tommen and Myrcella have doom written on their foreheads and it pains me, as they're so innocent. Stannis, Brienne, Theon and, as mentioned, Jaime, are all characters that I'll be sad to see off, though they're not entirely innocent (alright, Brienne hasn't done anything wrong yet, but she's old enough to make choices and defend herself).

This. It wouldn't surprise me but I would be gutted.

Stannis and Jon. As much as I'd love to see Jon as king and Stannis as his Hand, I know they'll probably end up dead anyway.

Brienne and Jaime. They deserved to be happy together, but what are the chances of that happening?
