I posted this @ WiC.net and it seemed to get a lot of love. I think he would be perfect for the role...He has that mysterious look to him, and he's an amazing actor.

He was great in Boardwalk Empire, not a bad choice. Already in the HBO stable so I guess he's a realistic option.

He definitely has the look and he has played the part of a psychopath before. it could work.

He looks so different in all the pictures I've seen him in. In some of his pictures I really do see Ramsay. Honestly, at this point I just want to see Ramsay on the show regardless of who is playing him. I WANT MY REEK! /Ramsay] :commie:

Michael is a great actor, I loved him in BE and I'd love to have him in GoT. My only problem with him being Ramsay is that I'd hate to be attracted to that bastard in any way but with Michael playing him it would be impossible no to :D

once he wouldn't have been my choice for ramsay, but now i would certainly support this casting. neither ramsay nor roose are supposed to be well, good-looking, so i pictured stocky dark hair men. but after i saw a photo of the actor they have playing roose, i am sure he'll be perfect- his eyes do seem sort of unsettling. so michael pitt might also work as well.

I like Michael Pitt but rumour has it he's a nightmare to work with.

I've said it before and I'll keep saying it. I'd like to see Andrew Scott (Moriarty in BBC's Sherlock) as the Bastard of Bolton.

I'm all for Michael Pitt being Ramsay. It would be great casting.

Michael Pitt could probably pull off the role well, but I don't think it's likely. He's American, and for the Westerosi roles they seem to primarily hire British actors. Also, Ramsay is not a huge--as in top 10--part, and Pitt was pretty much the co-lead or number two in Boardwalk Empire. I don't know if he would want to take a part like Ramsay after Boardwalk Empire.

My personal choice, which I've mentioned before probly, would be Sean Harris. He's really great at being creepy and disturbing in the two roles I've seen him in, both of which have connections to Game of Thrones. The Red Riding trilogy was cast by Nina Gold and the movie Harry Brown has several actors now in Game of Thrones: Iain Glen, David Bradley, Liam Cunningham, and I think the guy who is playing Black Lorren.

Pitt is too goodlooking to play Reek. Read the description of his appearance Theon gives right after he is pulled out of the dungeon by the Walders.

The perfect Ramsey Bolton would have been young Jack Palance:

I have resigned myself to the fact that Ramsey has been cut entirely. I have no idea how that's going to work, but I don't think there is any doubt that he's not going to be in Season 2. And if he's not in season 2 then there's not much need for him until season 5. So we may see him in a few years. Of course it's just as likely that he's been cut entirely (as his actions in season 2 critical for setting up his character).

I had thought that maybe they pushed the sacking of Winterfell back to the beginning of season 3 somehow, but it doesn't sound like that is likely (due to rumors about other scenes being shot).

Okay, are we sure there is going to even be a Ramsay yet? I really hope they don't cut this character. I don't see how it's possible though, and he is perfect for creepy HBO tv.

If there is a Ramsay, i would die for Cillian Murphy!!! He has the perfect pale eyes and can totally pull of a psycho as in sunshine or batman..

They're not cutting his character, its a spoiler to show his character in the casting list since it's supposed to be a surprise when he shows himself.

Same deal for Asha (or Yara, wtf?); they're refusing to shill her in any of the trailers and stuff, but she's a big character and a considerable fuss was made over her casting.

Ramsay is a massive character too, but completely ignored. Almost certainly because he's been cut.

He just can't be...I know I'm biased because I think he would be a great HBO character and REALLY don't want him to be cut, but honestly he is just too damn important and could make such a great tv villain that it would be ridiculously idiotic to cut him. Some people think he is going to be bumped back to season 3 or could play a minor role in season 2 and be more prevalent in season 3.

Hope so :crying:
