[Cap Ou Pas Cap]

I can not find any proof they were ever in the same place. As it is somewhat important on a few theories, can someone clarify?

That's strange. I think Cersei made a comment on Lyannas beauty sometimes...but maybe she just heard about that from someone else.

I have been wondering the same. I actually don't remember her even commenting anything about Lyanna.

Cersei calls her "insipid" once, but never says/thinks anything substantial about her appearances.

Wiki does not list Cersei as attending Harrenhaal Tourney, while Ashara, Elia and others are listed. I vaguely remember Jaime thinking that she was not there, but I might be mistaken.

I was reading theories Arya/Younger Queen/Valoquar. The major part of it is based on Arya looking like Lyanna and making Cersei feel her downfall like nobody else could. But when I started digging, nothing came up.

Is it possible she saw Lyannas' tombstone? It's a likeness of her at least. Or was the time we read about the only time Robert had visited Ned with Cersei?

I think they never met, Cersei didn't go to Harrenhall, don't know why. And afterwards the war started, so it's unlikely they ever saw each other. Cersei might have her information about Lyanna from Jaime or one of her relatives, which might explain why she thinks Lyanna wasn't as beautiful as her.

I puzzled out now that Cersei must have ben in KL during the Harrenhal tourney(Jaime visited her on his way there), so no Lyanna encounter there. Hmm seems very likely they never met then.

It got me thinking that I have just like that overlooked two major (Lyanna is major for the plot) characters, who had so much shared history, have actually never met. I do not find so many new things these days.

I think that would be difficult to not see what she looks like when the two men Cersei wanted to care about her cared about Lyanna instead. Surely the was a drawing or tapestry with her likeness. I do remember Cersei thinking something about the "wolf girl" and something about appearance, I'll have to look for it because this is a good question.

Where? Available to Cersei? If Robert had had it, he would have slept with it and we should know about that.

I have actually picked up that Westerosi were not that keen on these things. Especially the Northerners. We know that Blackfish has never seen Arya in his life. Neither her, nor her portrait/effigy/any kind of image.

The one time anything like this is mentioned, is when Renly shows Margaery's image to Eddard. But that is something he personaly gets and, again, we have no ground to believe Robert has anything like this. Because he would wear it everywhere.

I don't think Robert did have anything like that. Didn't he say he'd almost forgotten what Lyanna looked like?

This is started to annoy me. Cersei must have seen her somewhere! No other tourneys? They were of the same age, I would have thought they would have socialised at some point.

I'm actually not sure about this. If there was one, I'm sure Robert would want it, and doesn't he remark that he doesn't even remember what she looked like anymore at some point in Thrones? Also, the fact that the first thing he wants to do is see Lyanna's statue in the crypts kind of points to him wanting to see her face again, as he hadn't in such a long time.

I think Cersei's thoughts about Lyanna are mainly speculation and come from other people or Jaime (he was at Harrenhal, right?), who probably told her that the "wolf girl" was not as beautiful as her.

I wondered about this too. But I think the Starks weren't much ones for tourneys and traveling, it's possible that the kids weren't in the south that much.

It seems like in Westeros there is no tradition of painting, the only time a painting is mentioned is when Renly asks Ned about Margaery resembling Lyanna, sculptures seem to be more normal.
But we never hear anything about a portrait or a sculpture of Lyanna except from the one in the crypts, so I don't think Robert had anything to remember Lyanna, if he had Cersei probably would have destroyed it after he died.

It's interesting that Cersei never even saw the girl who became the obessession of the man she wanted to marry and her husband, and now I'm curious about why she doesn't seem to be interested in Lyanna. I'd like to know how she was, or at least to understand why they loved her so much.

Damn GRRM for keeping us in the dark about everything that has to do with Rhaegar and Lyanna!!

Well this is kinda of a pet theory of mine that KL has images of the noble familys maybe on tapestries and that might be why Littlefinger wants Cersei to send him some to help prove that Alayne is Sansa Stark, so if he asked for more it dosen't look suspicious and were they Robert's also. So that is why I thought something like this could be, maybe. But as far as your question of where; I said "surely" not that there "was" Maybe I think too much also.
