Not sure if this is appropriate since this is Objects of Ice and Fire after all but there are a lot of Scott Lynch fans on here as well.  I'll understand if this is deleted or locked but I also have a set of lettered Lies of Locke Lamora and Red Seas Under Red Skies and rights to the series.

They are matched and one only 15 in existence.

Any interest, PM me or email me direct [email protected]

If Scott ever finishes the sequence, this could be a potential grail level item as again, only 15 lettered sets makes this ridiculously exclusive.

EDIT:  Well that was fast . . . sold!  Thanks all.

Subterranean is horrible at putting actual work in their lettered editions, The lettered set has a traycase, leather bound instead of cloth, one extra pic.

The one thing that's REALLY missing, is illustrated endsheets. If the lettered set had it, it would show that they gave a 1/10 of a shit. Alas, they don't. I wish Bill and the other guys at subpress would read awfullbooks "lettered checklist".

When the only enhancement is a traycase (that they dont make themselves, and is exactly like lots of other traycases) to seperate a 75USD book and a 250USD book, you know your not putting enough love in your work.

I would rather wait years for my fave book, than have it suck. In other words: I miss Hill House.

I'm kind of a late comer when it comes to collectible books, but I keep hearing how awesome hill house's quality was/is. Does anybody have any pictures of the quality these books have over others?

Thx

To be honest, I bought my Hill House books second hand. So I never had to undergo the uncertainty those who preordered had to. Most of their books were years late, with little or no explanation. But the final products er oft very good. Here are awfullbooks review of two Hill House books (American Gods and Anansi Boys, both by Neil Gaiman.)

http://www.awfulbook...rican Gods.html

http://www.awfulbook...nansi Boys.html

It's hard to explain just how wonderful Anansi Boys looks i real life. Real craftsmanship.

But in any case, I was mostly venting. Subpress makes some fine books, but when you think that this is THE limited edition for your favorite book... Well, than you wish your favorite book was American Gods. And the difference between Subpress limited/lettered is way, way to small.

Subpress does their business part great. Hill House made their books great. Just too bad none of em does both.

How many lettered sets do you have? Is your other set(s) broken as well?

Wow, there might be 14 matching lettered sets. Damn. That is exclusive.

I have one set with matching letters.  The only reason I have an extra is the first book was purchased through another owner and I didn't immediately get rights.
When the second book came up I had a chance to pick up another copy directly from the publisher.  Soon after, the original owner sold me the matching letter and rights.

If I remember correctly there were a few other single Red Seas Under Red Skies sold so it's likely there are quite a few less than 15 complete sets.

I still have my Red Seas Under Red Skies lettered available for sale including rights.
The new book, The Republic of Thieves, just went live on the Subterranean Press website and you have to own this book to buy the next in the series.

If anyone is interested, let me know. Thanks.
