My first post (been lurking for awhile)...

Imagining Grey Wind's head on Robb. When that was described I was so upset I didn't pick the book back up for a few days.
Catelyn's treatment of Jon.
Whenever Jon and Arya think of each other.
Ygritte dying.

A couple that haven't been said:

When Jon finds Donal Noye and Mag the Mighty dead at the hands of each other, and then subsequently every time Jon remembers Donal.
When we find out Beric Dondarrion died his final death bring back Catelyn. I was more mad than sad. I liked Beric, not necessarily loved him, but I HATE Catelyn. The way she treats Jon, how she frees Jaime in hopes it will get back Sansa and Arya (which we as a reader know she won't get Arya), her vanity, and then after her resurrection how blindingly and ignorantly angry she is with Brienne and is ready to kill her and poor little Pod. UGH!

Catelyn Tully has been on my no-fly list since she told Jon Snow it should have been him. I was already irritated by her knowing the signs of danger (direwolf killed by a stag's antlers), and purposely twisting that obvious prophecy for her and Lysa's own ends.

Ok, off topic, but who is that in your avatar?  Cute baby!

That's my baby boy, with my grandfather, who died this morning. Thank you!

Oh, how sad for you, please accept my condolences.  How lovely that he had a chance to hold your son!

Rhaegar fought valiantly, Rhaegar fought nobly, Rhaegar fought honorably. And Rhaegar died. - Jorah Mormont

Robert and Ned in the crypts talking about Lyanna.

Catelyn dismissing Jon from Brans room.

Jamie and Tyrions last scene together. I Killed him...

Red Wedding and Ned.

Crasters Keep.

Sam running into Bran and Arya. So close.

SNow Castle.

Oberyn vs The Mountain.

Any time a character reminisces about Rhaegar I get sad. Especially when Jaime remembers how Rhaegar was going to change things, once he returned from the Trident (which he didn't :crying: )

I really, really should be doing some re-reads.

Just a few, but...

-Arya's friend getting killed
-Arya chasing off Nymeria as a result
-Lady dying - This really, really got to me.  Not because Lady was a pet, but what I believe Lady symbolized.  Lady made Sansa a Stark and by that closer to her brothers and sisters.  I don't know if that made any sense, but I guess I kinda thought that was the death of Sansa.
-Sansa's constant torturing
-Any Stark thinking of their family
-Ned's death - at the end of his family owned sword.
-Ice being destroyed (still hope of it getting re-united, though)
-Ygritte dying
-RW.  Didn't see it coming.  At all.  Everything to do with it.  Catelyn, the Umbers and Greywind.  And the combining of Robb and Greywind's corpses.  That sticks with me to this day.
-Nymeria finding UnCat
-On a happier note, Bran learning to fly...

Yes yes yes!  But more of a "Woohoo, you go, girl!" moment - brought joy to my heart.  And thereafter, anything involving any Manderley did the same.  Awesome family.  :D

When Lord Too Fat said "the North remembers", I wanted to shout WINTERFELLLLLL!"

Hey guys,

I have just finished ACoK, so I had to avoid reading several of your touching moments (for spoiler reasons)...

What has touched my heart with a cossbow arrow until now, is all the Winterfell fall in hands of Greyjoy, and the further burning. I just couldn't hold it... Winterfell was like home (I am from a rather cold region)...

All the people from the castle and surroundings killed, everything destroied... for nothing...

Watching in my mind all that sequence was just heartbreaking.

Uhhh.....what prophecy are you even talking about?!  She wanted to warn The Ned about the direwolf and stag thing but didn't because she knew he wouldn't believe her...
