So, what makes this game exciting, other than the Great Zar-Mod being behind it?
Awesome flavor text, but also
It's the games
Special Mechanics/Specifics:
Nights in this game will be divided into two phases.
1) Night (where all actions take place) and
2) Twilight (where R'hllor may bless you with a special power to use during the following Day/Night Phase). Think of it like a sorting goodie bag given out regardless of alignment.
Should any of you not receive an ability, you will receive this Ability PM.
Quote
No blessings from R'hllor have been bestowed upon you for this day.
The blessing R'hllor might give you for any given Day/Night Phase may be among the following:
Blessed By Fire (Bulletproof)
R'hllor has blessed you with his protection for tonight. This allows you to survive the first attempt on your life, during this night phase. You will not be informed if an attempt on your life has been made.
Cleansing by Fire (Vanillizer)
Fire purifies, and R'hllor has given you the power of purification. You may attempt to cleanse a player this night. This means they lose any abilities they have (exluding the ability to commit the factional FM nightkill if they may do so). You will not be informed if your action is successful. Please note that this action resolves last. Should you target a player they will be cleansed by fire at the end of night. So any actions they carry out that night will not be interfered with. Should you target a cleanser who targets you, both actions will occur simultaneously and you will both lose your abilities.
The Death Wish (Ninja)
Death can pay for life. But for today, your life may also pay for death. R'hllor has granted you a death wish. At any given point of the day phase, you may chose to use your power. You may bold the words:
I pay with my life for the death of Player X. Once these words have been said, you will both die. The day phase will continue regularly, but the vote count will be reset.
The Red Vote (Double Voter)
For this Day phase, R'hllor has blessed you with the gift of influence. Besides your regular vote, you have been granted a
Red Vote. Therefore, you are a Double Voter. In order to differentiate your first vote from your second vote, the latter must not only be bolded, but be colored in red. You may change either of your votes at any time (always using bolded red for any switches on your additional vote), however, you may not place both votes on the same player or vote night with both votes. If by any chance you happen to use your double voting ability on two players who are at L-1, the first vote will be considered the hammer. Majority is not affected by your extra vote.
(If by any chance a player who is not a double voter places two consecutive votes, it will be considered as a regular vote with a switch).
Flame Revelation Seer (Finder):
R'hllor has granted you the ability to look into the flames. Blessed are you by the mighty Red God! You have been granted the gift of revelation. You are a finder. During the night, you may choose to look into the flames by sending the name of one player you wish to investigated (other than yourself). Assuming no interference by other roles, the mods will PM you as soon as day begins to tell you if that player is "rebel (killer)" or "not a rebel (not a killer)". Please note a symp would show up as "not a rebel".
The flames showing you no result means that something interfered with your ability and it did not resolve successfully.
Flame Clairvoyance Seer (Night Action Finder)
R'hllor has granted you the ability to look into the flames. Blessed are you by the mighty Red God! You have been granted the gift of clairvoyance. You are a Night Action Finder. During the night, you may choose to look into the flames by sending the name of one player you wish to investigate (other than yourself). Assuming no interference by other roles, the mods will PM them as soon as day begins to tell them if that player "Performed a night action" or "Did not Perform a night action".
The flames showing you no result means that something interfered with your ability and it did not resolve successfully.
Flame Knowledge Seer (Role Finder):
R'hllor has granted you the ability to look into the flames. Blessed are you by the mighty Red God! You have been granted the gift of knowledge. You are a Role Finder. During the night, you may choose to look into the flames by sending the name of one player you wish to investigate (other than yourself). Assuming no interference by other roles, if said player had a special ability during the night (other than the factional kill), you will be informed by the mods of what this ability was via PM.
The Flavorful Name of the role will be reported.
The flames showing you no result means that something interfered with your ability and it did not resolve successfully.
Flame Premonition Seer (Forecaster):
R'hllor has granted you the ability to look into the flames. Blessed are you by the mighty Red God! You have been granted the gift of premonition. You can see the future. During the night, you may choose to look into the flames by sending the name of one player you wish to investigate (other than yourself). Assuming no interference by other roles, you will be receive a PM informing you one of the following:
1) Player B received Player A's ability
2) No one received Player A's ability.
3) You obtained no result.
This ability resolves after abilities have been reassigned. The flames showing you no result means that something interfered with your ability and it did not resolve successfully.
Flame Sensible (Watcher):
R'hllor has granted you the ability to look into the flames. Blessed are you by the mighty Red God! You have been granted the gift of sensing. You are a watcher. At night, you may choose a player to watch. If other roles do not intervene, you will be informed if a player was targeted by players other than yourself (although not by whom).
The flames showing you no result means that something interfered with your ability and it did not resolve successfully.
Fiery Hand (Soldier)
For this day, you become R'hllor's Fiery Hand. In a 1 vs. 1 scenario, if the Fiery Hand is the last man standing of his faction, his team wins the game.
The Fiery Shield (Guard)
R'hllor has given you the gift of binding people. At night, you may choose a player in the game to be blocked from performing any abilities they may possess.
Should there be 2 players with the ability to shield in the game both actions will resolve simultaneously. So, for instance if Shielder A targets Shielder B who targets Power role C, Power role C's role will be blocked.
Firestop (Freezer)
R'hllor has blessed you with the power of preventing ability sortings. At night, you may use your power by sending a PM to the mods to use your firestop. Assuming no other role intervenes, special abilities will not be reassigned at the end of the Night Phase.
The Gift of Pleasure (Jailer)
R'hllor has granted you one of his Temple Prostitutes for this Night. At night you may choose a player in the game to join you in indulging into the pleasures of the body by sending a PM with his name to the mods. Assuming no other role intervenes, you and the named player will both delight from the arts of love of the servant of R'hllor. While you're at it, other players may not disturb your guest. Said player will not be able to perform any special abilities they may possess.
Should there be 2 players with bed servants in the game their actions will resolve simultaneously. So, for instance if Player A invites Player B who invites Player C, Player C's ability will be blocked.
Glamour Ruby (Ascetic)
R'hllor has granted you the power of a glamour in the form of a Ruby Pendant. This protective charm makes you un-targetable at night by special active abilities, except shadowbinding & kills.
The Kiss of Fire (Martyr)
R'hllor has granted you the power to give life but it comes at the expense of yours: the gift of the
kiss of fire. At night, you may choose a player to target by sending his name via PM to the mods. Assuming no other role intervenes, that player will be healed, and you will die in his place were he to be targeted. Said player, however, will lose the ability to receive blessings from the Red God for the rest of the game.
Leech with Royal Blood (Bomb/Unstoppable)
R'hllor has granted you the power to take life through blood magic, in the form of a Leech with royal blood.
Should you be lynched in a Day Phase while possessing the leech, at any time before the hammer, you may send the Mods a PM with the name of a player in your lynch mob. Should you be lynched, this player will die along with you.
You may also choose to burn the leech during the night. By doing so, you will make kills unblockable. This ability makes a kill unstoppable by any abilities such as heal, jails, guards, or martyr protections.
Milk of the Poppy (Role Booster)
You have been granted a flask of Milk of the Poppy. While it does not prevent death, it is a soothing potion helping ease pain and those feeling unwell. At night, you may choose a player to target by sending the mods his name via PM. Assuming no other role intervenes, if the player has been poisoned, he will still be allowed to perform his special abilities. This does not decrease the poison count on the player, but only removes its temporary disabling effect.
Ravens (Friend Makers)
For this Night, a raven has been given to you, to deliver a message among the Lords and Ladies that have been summoned. You are a schemer. During the night phase you may PM the mods a message containing up to 30 words to be delivered to another player. Assuming no other role intervenes, the message will be delivered during the next day phase. You will not be informed of your success. The player will not be informed the sender's identity unless you chose to reveal it in your message.
The Red Priest (Healer)
The Red God will hear your prayers for today. You are his designated Priest for this phase and thus you are a healer. Each night you may choose to Heal a player via PM to the mods. If they are targeted for a nightkill you will prevent that.
Shadowbinder (Vigilante):
Those who know the arts of fire may control the Shadows. R'hllor has granted you the gift of Shadowbinding for tonight. At night, you may choose a player to target by sending the mods his name via PM. Assuming no other role intervenes, that player will die at the end of the night.
The gift of Shadowbinding does not come without a cost. Shall you choose to cast your Shadow over a player, regardless of the outcome, you will lose the ability to use any other blessings granted by R'hllor for the rest of the game.
Sword Flamer (Lynch Protection)
R'hllor has blessed you with the gift of berserk. At night, you may PM the mods a player's name other than your own. Assuming to other role intervenes, the player will receive a fiery protection during the next day phase which will be publically announced. They may not be lynched during the given day phase. Any votes that are placed on the target will not count The player who has been made immune's vote still counts and majority is not affected.
The Tears of Lys (Delayed Poisoner):
R'hllor has blessed you with the art of poisoning. You have been granted a Jar of tears of Lys. A rare and expensive poison, it is clear, sweet as water and leaves no trace. One drop will cause a sickness in the bowels and belly, making it impossible for a player to perform special abilities during the following day/night phase (please note this does not prevent players from counting into the factional Kills). The damage of the tears of Lys is accumulative, and two drops on the same person will cause death.
At night, you may choose a player to target by sending his name via PM to the mods. Assuming no other role intervenes, that player will be poisoned. The player will be informed of his condition via a PM stating: "You have woken up feeling unwell. You may not be able to perform special abilities granted to you during this Day/Night phase."
The Test of Fire (Miller)
R'hllor has given you a test to prove your worth. For this day/night phase you shall be a Miller. Should a flame seer with revelation powers target you at night, assuming no other role intervenes, he will be informed you are a rebel. Should you be lynched or killed while undergoing this test, you will flip rebel.
Any of these abilities may have modifiers such as 'X-shot', (e.g. 1-shot), 'X-night' (e.g. even night).
Any abilities that are limited shot in nature will count as being used should a guard/healer with side effects prevent you from using your role. Likewise a vigilante's ability will be used up should they target a person who was healed or a bulletproof player.
