Actually, I have two roles he'd be perfect for.

The kindly faced man, or Maester Marwyn.

It won't happen, more's the pity. Sean Bean was their draw, their big name gun for season one to get people to watch. The rest of the cast were relatively unknown, at least on the massive scale that a Patick Stewart or Bean could draw, and for good reason: these historical pieces very often jar when someone is cast in a role who has a face instantly associated with another show or character. PS costs too much, and there'd be too many questions of 'Why is Captain Picard in Westeros?'

Why?  Captain’s prerogative, of course.

But seriously, I think he'd make a great Kindly Man in Braavos.

Stewart is a classically trained, highly talented and versatile actor. I'd love to see him take a role no one would expect him for, like a cameo as "Nimble" Dick Crabb, Denys Mallister or even as Qyburn.

I really don't think physical resemblance needs to be a deal-breaker. If he can inhabit the essence of a character, he can portray someone faithfully.
He would be great as "The Kindly Man", though...

Personally, I always pictured Ian McKellen as the kindly man.  Patrick Stewart would make an excellent Arthur Dayne or Gerold Hightower for a flashback cameo.  I wouldn't mind seeing him as Garlan Tyrell or Doran Martell.

He actually would be a perfect Arthur Dayne.

I agree with whoever said that Patrick Stewart would have made a fantastic Barristan Selmy. The only other role I see that may fit is Mace Tyrell.

No suggestions for him being the blackfish?

Kindly Old man in Braavos was exactly who I was thinking before I even read the thread. Howland Reed would be good, but we haven't even met him in the book series yet, and he hasn't been mentioned on the TV series.

I don't see him as Mace at all. Or Selmy. Qyburn could be interesting for him.

Absolutely.  And as I am way older than many members here, to me he will always be Sejanus (I,Claudius '76).

Doran Martell I think, but I don't know if he would commit himself to a TV show. He still does movies and the stage, I think.

If any I would think Doran Martell.
Backup "nimble dick" is a good one also, but probably too small a part for him.
