RedEyedGhost
Basically, if you see a great deal ebook or actual book, please post it here so that the rest of us can take advantage too. I nearly started this thread last month when Stina Leicht's Of Blood and Honey was free for kindle, but I had family in from out of town and didn't have the time.I just "bought" these two from amazon:The Winds of Khalakovo by Bradley BeaulieuSasha by Joel Shepherd
Ormond
Some of the best places for getting amazing book deals are venues that specialize in remainders.I particularly like Edward R. Hamilton, though unfortunately it doesn't ship outside the USA:http://www.edwardrhamilton.com/Hamilton's shipping costs are extremely reasonable -- $3.50 per order no matter how many books you get at once. They have a companion site where you can order with a credit card for an extra 40 cents per book. I actually usually look up my books on the Hamiltonbook site because I think it's a bit easier to find stuff there, but then mail in my orders with a check to avoid the 40 cent credit card charge:http://www.hamiltonb...3b06ee/Home/0/2Then there's Book Closeouts:http://www.bookclose...re/Browse/_/N-0?And you can also find lots of bargains in both new and used books at Biblio and Alibris:http://www.biblio.com/http://www.alibris.com/

SkynJay
Not sure what the point is that makes it a good deal, but I would assume 2.99 counts. Almost anything published by Angry Robot older than six months old is 2.99 still. This includes Zoo City and Moxieland, Triumf(which I found quite funny), and others. While not quite as good, Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell is still less than four.Had a few more I got for 99cents, but the deals I bought seem to have reverted. I use the U.S. amazon, so not sure how that would affect others.

RedEyedGhost
Not for Europe and not for Europe.Yeah, sorry. I'll note that in the future if I know.Urbis Morpheos by Stephen Palmer is free at the moment (. I haven't read it yet, but it is PS Publishing so it at least has a good chance to be interesting. Thanks, I just "bought" it. The synopsis had my brain fishtailing, so I'm not sure when I'll be brave enough to try it.Not sure what the point is that makes it a good deal, but I would assume 2.99 counts. If you think it's an amazing deal, post it, and others can decide if they agree. I bought Triumff back in January when the Angry Robot sale began, and I'm on the fence about Zoo City... everybody seems to like it, but the synopsis does absolutely nothing for me. Peadar
I'm on the fence about Zoo City... everybody seems to like it, but the synopsis does absolutely nothing for me.The blurb turned me right off too, but the South African setting and the clean writing and the main character made for a very enjoyable read. YMMV.
