Not really, but there are numerous things that I pictured in the books that wasn't described that I just thought felt right. For example, I know that the Battle of the Blackwater happened during the day, but I always have pictured it beginning just as the sun set while most of it was at night.

me too i pictured it happening at dusk and into night.

As soon as I saw that she was going to be playing Brienne, I've always pictured Gwendoline Christie as she normally is as Brienne, rather than how she is in other depictions, and how GC looks in the show itself.  Even though she is described as being beautiful, I've never seen Cersei as being that good looking (I see Asha as being better looking, for example), but that might be due to her personality.

I think Dolorous Edd could be handsome, but he'd have such a permament look of sullen resignation and depression on his face that you'd never know.  The same could be true of Shireen as well, were it not for her looking sad and her greyscale.  Speaking of which, Sylse could be passable-good looking as well if she shaved her mostache, at least in my head anyway.

I kinda see Bloodraven as the thinner version.

And this is slightly OT, in that it's not about attraction (which supposedly he is) But I am having a hard time figuring out why I think Darkstar is so cool. Anyone else have the same trouble?

I always pictured Jorah as more handsome than his hairy description!  And Darkstar sounds handsome, just because of his name!

But really, I only have eyes for Jon Snow;)

Yeah, exactly. On paper he just doesn't add up to much, other than being great with a blade. But I still really want to read more about him.

joining the Darkstar appreciation party. that better not be the last we saw of him. he's too damn interesting to not come up again (also quite attractive, to fit the theme of this thread)

I'll also add Meera Reed to my list. I know she's supposed to be cute, but I pretty much have a flat out fictional character crush on her, and I can't even begin to explain why :dunno:

Well Theon is described and thought to be quite handsome in the books, but Gregor Clegane :stunned:  well, that's interesting. They never mentioned his looks, just his size, if I remember right, but I suppose its possible.

I also imagined Shireen and Penny to be much cuter than what the other characters think of them. I feel Shireen's ugliness is exagerrated by her greyscale and Penny by her dwarfism.

Is Euron described as handsome? I always pictured him as really attractive, in a kind of creepy/sleazy sort of way. Though I'm weirdly kind of a fan of eye patches :pirate:

Edit: Just wanted to add, I in no way find him attractive as a person, I just pictured him that way.

Have you seen his wiki photo? :leer: Have a look! He is considered the best looking of the Greyjoy brothers, I forgot who says it, either Vic or Aeron. I agree he is an evil fuck, but I do envision him to be very physically appealing. That's so funny about the eye patch thing, because I used to have an eye patch thing myself for fictional characters, especially in anime.

Isn't Theon described as being cocky with a smart a$$ smirk on his face? LOL I think Cat says something like that in GOT. Anyway I usually don't think "smirky" smart A$$es are cute but for some reason I think Theon is esp. after I saw his Wiki picture X)

I like his wiki pic, but I personally prefer this one. Sorry, Theon is one of my favorites(character wise and looks wise), but then again I've always been attracted to assholes with deep-rooted issues.

Sandor Clegane  for sure seems to be attractive, he's charismatic in his own way.
Then, I picture Victarion and Euron to be not bad too...
And Areo too...

But I can't get attracted to Jorah, don't know why.

I always imagined Renly looking gorgeous, as well as Robert as a young man, and Gendry. They are supposed to look almost the same all of them. But they are supposed to look good, so I guess it doesn't count in this topic...

The gods save me, but there's something about Roose Bolton that attracts me.  Quite what it is I find so attractive, I don't know, but when I read his parts in the books, I come over all unnecessary :dunno:
Yes... Roose is very attractive to me, you're not alone  Even Ramsay a little bit, but I am trying to change that picture in my head as best as I can. The link someone provided of Cillian Murphy is close to how I imagined him. WHY???

Besides that, Edmure, the Blackfish, Asha, Bronn, Bloodraven for some strange strange reason. I also find Jon Snow quite hot but he's never been described poorly, just plain.
Bloodraven definitely, attractive mind. I'm not reasonable in this, and no one will persuade me to think otherwise :) I don't think he sounds attractive present time in the novels, but as a younger man... I feel all girly :blushing:

Jon too, though described as plain. I just don't think he is, just as Arya sounds much cuter to me than she is described.

Yeah, me too. Then I remind myself he has mushrooms growing out of his head.

I think Grey Worm is totally hot. Then I remind myself he's a eunuch, but, hey, thats not his fault.

(I like Theon, Jaquen, Beric and Aeron Greyjoy too, but all of them are actually described as good looking at some point.)
Theon! He is supposed to have long black hair, and that smile like he knows a secret... nuff said.

Jaqen, oh yes. A man is very intriguing, and a woman would like to get to know better...

Grey Worm, my heart breaks a little thinking about him and the unsullied. I would hold him close in the night... :crying:

Eh, never mind the mushrooms and worms, think of Bloodraven with Dark Sister and the Raven's Teeth, intimidating people down south.
