So how did you all like Gilly?

I think she was brilliant, very close to how I imagined her. It wasn't very long at all, but that scene with her and Sam was probably one of my favorite parts. The chemistry is there at once, they are meant to be together

I cannot wait for their scenes in Season 3...

She is way, way too cute for her role.  I just can't see her being the hardened wildling woman she is in the book.

Gilly was far from a hardened wildling women in the books. she was one of crasters daughters, thats it. the hardest thing she did was carry a baby through the woods with sam.

Yeah, she was pretty cute in a goofy, inbred sort of way. It seems Sam's acting is a lot stronger in this series. Loving the Northern scenes so far.

I thought she was super cute. IIRC, in the books, Gilly was always viewed as a cute girl. There were some lewd comments in AFfC about her being a wetnurse to Mance's baby. I think. She's certainly not thought of as ugly.

I found her and Sam to have some believable chemistry in the little scene of them.
