Also Garbage will be releasing a new album next month. I am so on that. I've been listening to Garbage since I was 11 years old. I'm super excited for one of my favorite bands to come back after a long time.

I didn't realise they had a new album coming out. That song was pretty good. While I wouldn't rank them among my favourite bands they do have a lot of good songs, and Version 2.0 was a great album.

"When you wake, what is it that you think of most?
When your bed is empty, do you really sleep alone?
If I imagine you
Body next to another

All around me new love, and it makes me sad
All around me feeling sure that you'll be back
If I imagine you
Body next to another

Stop crying to the ocean..."

I'm a big musical theatre fan, so I listen to a lot of cast recordings.

Right now, it's Man of La Mancha. Richard Kiley has always been one of my favorite voices.

Since the people on this forum got me onto Anathema, I've been obsessed with this song: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=-8Pk_WA-Q_Q
Their new album is pretty awesome.  You might want to check it out.

Both of those are awful, awful, awful.

People have been convicted of war crimes for less...

It's record store day so I was able to finagle* a copy of Jack White's new solo album, Blunderbuss, even though it's not out till Tuesday.  Haven's listened to it yet, but I soon will.

Been binging on the latest from Anathema, which is excellent (see above) and The Mars Volta, which is just weird.  It's like if somebody took 80's synth pop, added a heavy dose of mind-altering substances and a serial killer and threw it all in a blender.  I'm not sure what to think of it yet.

I've become addicted to Garbage lately. I used to listen to them when I was young too, now that they're back I can't stop listening to them.

I've been listening a lot to Dry the River. No Rest is amazing! (as is the rest of their album, but this one stands out)

This may come as a surprise to you guys, but I've been listening to a lot of Bowie lately.  And by lately, I mean 25 years or so.  Right now it's His Grace's Space Oddity (link is not the song you think it is).

And what better to go with Bowie than T. Rex's Electric Warrior?

You?  Listening to Bowie? Noooooo!

Next you'll be telling us other crazy, completely unbelievable things, like how much you hate the musical genius Sting!

Within the first 3 seconds of "The Bridge" intro I was hooked, so I downloaded it and now it's on repeat.

The song, not the album.

Well, the album too, I guess. But right now, specifically, the song.

Cool, lounge style, cover of Spear's Toxic by French-Israeli singer Yael Naim.

White Blank Page, originally by Mumford and Sons, covered by Taylor Swift.

I love that cover! Although, I'm afraid to admit how much I adore the Britney Spear's original, this is probably one of the coolest covers I heard.
