Also, I will never understand how some people can like her. Maybe sympathize with her, her punishment is quite cruel (Although she had it coming) and she does truly love her children. But not like her. I haven't seen too many Ramsay or Gregor sympathizers around.

I'm sure there are people on this forum who admire Ser Gregor, and Ramsay.
She isn't in their league of dreadfulness, though.

'liking' and 'disliking' someone in fiction is complicated, and a loaded question. That's probably why people get bent out of shape sometimes, and why this forum is like crackrock. Consider what goes into how you feel about a fictional character:
Do you like/relate/sympathize with them as a person?
Do you like/agree with how they treat other characters in the story you like or dislike?
As a well rendered character?
Does his/her characteration tell you something about the authors worldview/prejudices and do you like that?
Their role/placement in the story?
Would you want to hang out with them?
Would you trust them? To do what?

She kind of reminds me of Victarion, some of their chapters are funny in some ways due to the delusional nature of Cersei/Victarion.

It seems petty to us, but not to her.
The opening sentence of her first POV chapter explains everything:
"She saw herself on the Iron Throne."
As despicable as she is, it's a terrible feeling to watch someone else steal your thunder.

That's a very good point. I'm going to try and answer that, because it seems interesting, even though I don't think you posted that so people will answer
-I sypmathize with her, to a certain point. She was unfairly treated in life, the Mad King did not let her marry Aerys, and the fact that she is a woman does not let her attain that much political power. However, she is also shown as a vicious, evil person who has no problem murdering babies, and there is no excuse for that.
- I hate that she treats Tyrion like crap for no good reason, and how she treats Jaime because he did not participate in her schemes.
- She is a well rendered character, and shows you what paranoia and power can do to a person.
- I think GRRM wants to show you that power for the sake of power is definitely not a good thing.
-Her placement in the story is good, both as what causes Eddard's downfall and her role as a paranoid crazy person that has a large hand in the downfall of House Lanniser.

I mean, of course Tyrion should be punished for the crimes of a completely unrelated man dead some hundred years before. He was a dwarf. And ugly.
Oh, and the deal with the High Septon was just so sweet. Lord Tywin would be proud? I bet he would.

Yeah, but nothing involving Cersei will ever be petty to Cersei because to Cersei, Cersei is the end all be all. Even all her postering about sacraficing for kids rings a little tired. If you were to look up all the times Cersei's POVs mention her kids, and then look at all the times she mentions Margy or herself, you'd see how much of her thought is wasted on her childrens. Again, I fucking love this bitch, but I won't be shedding any tears for her.

Also "I love you, I love you, I love you". As weird and uneven her relationship with Jaime was, these words were true.

yeah, I've never bought that she loves her children so much. I guess she loves them inasmuch as they are hers and jaimes, but they only ever seem like pawns for her to rule through. She's pretty mean to Tommen - because he is easier to control than Joff was.

That one would think better of Joffrey then of Tommen show us how utterly deranged that one is.

But then again, if she was a good mother, wife and Queen we wouldn't have much of a story, now would we? So I hope Cersei keeps being the lovable douchbag we all know and hate!
