Geez, all this time I thought they were called "Twihearts".
Twihard...sounds like a boner
-------
"A Game of Thrones Fan always pays their debts" or "The Night is Dark and full of Readers"
(Er, might be too long)
"Hodorists"
"Martinies" (Not only with the Martin reference, but I think many of us need the liqour on the side when it comes to this series, har har)
"Fangaryens"
"Night Watchers"
"Faceless Fans" (Wait....that might not sound right)
Or just simply "Crows" or "Wolves"
You know though, I wouldn't mind if we never get a name. Now almost every fandom has names, from movies to singers (Hooligans for Bruno Mards, Little Monsters for Gaga, Beliebers Justin Beiber) - it is sort of getting a bit overdone.
Being nameless might make us more special.

To me it sounds like we are fans of the florida marlins
I think BwB is what will end up sticking as a community even if it's not a term intended for the whole community

The Harry Potter folks are "Hogwartians."
Star Trek fans are "Trekkors"
Star Wars fans are "Force Freaks"
What do you call a fan of Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire? Thronies? Martinites? What is our name?

referring to the sound a reader makes when a character angers them or does something stupid.
It can't be "D*****t Dany". That is too tailored to me.

*edit* Damn it, Apple beat me to it. But it rhymes with boners! Yep, I'm proud to be a Throner.

I've never heard it that way. Either from "fans" or "people of Star Trek" I have always heard them referred to as Trekkies.

I suppose you could call the online fandom something else, but at Cons, Rl meetups and stuff, we are the BWB.
That's also why there is a "Brotherhood without Banners" section on this very forum: it deals with fandom stuff. Have a look and check if something is going on in your area.
Link here to the Brotherhood without Banners info.
