Yeah, but I love her lovely red locks.   I'm in the Katie McGrath camp for Lyanna, but I guess Karen would be good, if Katie is unavailable.

Well ok. I recently watched Solomon Kane on I-Tunes (it was never released here in the U.S.) & I saw a man, that looked so much like a young Sean Bean it was scary. Anyone know who the guy is, & if he could play a young Ned?

I like that idea (bolding above), it hadn't occurred to me, since I'd locked my head onto Boardman as Tarly (really want to see him on the show in some capacity, as I think he was one of the best performances on Rome). And putting McTavish in the role of Tarly opens up Victarion Greyjoy, which I could then fill with Kevin McKidd.

Now, who could Lee Boardman play?

No, it really would be.  I mean, she can do other accents but her talking accent is clearly Austrailian.  Not doubting that she would be a good Val, but hearing it would be jarring as fuck if she kept her normal voice "you wanna kill the unclean child with greyscale, mate".  

Carrying on from the Simon Bird suggestion for Quentyn, I could see Joe Thomas (also from the Inbetweeners for the role).  Shall I get my white hood on now, or should I wait until I set the cross on fire?
