ETA: IIRC, the pats tend to line up one half of hte field like 3-4 and one half like 4-3- some bizarre Belichickian hybrid that he resorted to recently b/c he didn't have the personnel to run either D in its purest form.

I like that a lot. I think Wheeden would be a top 3 pick if he wasn't 28. The age is a factor but if he can give them 7 good years, it's worth a mid-late first round pick.

Personally, I think Wheeden can succeed there.
