This is what I think is the best way to end House Frey's line, kill every single remaining Frey, then castrate Walder Frey so he will die an old lonely death with-out having any heirs.

Yes but not every Frey is guilty for the RW. House Frey is WAY too spread out to be exterminated in its entirety, and they dont deserve to be. Stripped of their lands? Surely, but not exterminated.

For them to die in a fire. A very justified fire.

I think a fitting end for Walder would be for his progeny to either die or be turned against him (not every Frey, like the children and the Rosbys, deserves to die), and be stuck alone and hated in an empty castle.

Kill them all. But start with Edmure's kid. Damn Tully, trying to take away Sansa's claim

Invite them to a wedding, poison all the pies, and let them die a slow, dioreah reeking death.

Id say all the frey's responsible for the Red Wedding should either die or be stripped of title and before killing Walder frey, he should be made to watch his own castration.

Better yet, invite them all to an event, meet them in the hall with an unsheathed sword across my lap, and have soldiers go to work.

The Perfect way for the Freys to die would be at the final wedding of whoever claims the Throne, all of a sudden Mance Ryder disguised as a Bard starts to play "The Rat King" House Manderly shout now absolutely destroy all the Freys, before Arya Stark walks up to Roose Bolton and says "Robb Stark sends his regards" before plunging Needle into his heart.

Then all alone Walder Frey begins to beg for mercy dropping to the floor crying, all of the surviving families of people at the Red Wedding begin to stab and claw at him.

When he is dead UnCat shouts wait gives him the Red god's gift of life brings him back just for the process of being stabbed to death gets repeated again & again & again & again & again & again & again.........

In any way. The important thing is that they must die. A little bit of pain could be nice.

Wow, this thread is pretty chilling. Who knew that so many posters could advocate for the murder of women, children, and relatives who weren't involved in Walder Frey's actions at the Red Wedding. Those individual Freys who willingly participated and planned the event certainly deserve to be punished, but what's up with the desire to murder a clan numbering over 100 people for the actions of a few relatives?

We rightly call Dany and Robert Baratheon on it when they propose or carry out these kinds of atrocities, so why is it acceptable to wish it on the Freys?

Because it sends a message to the rest of the realm that screwing with others will lead to your demise, and that'll last for a very long term. A slap on the hand in the form of a few executions and lands removed won't really do much at all. An extermination of the entire House will make people realize that if they do something similar, even the people they don't want to get involved ever, will, in fact, get involved.

Sacrifices must be made. Varys understood that when he shot a crossbow in good Kevan Lannister's heart, why can't you?

Not every Frey deserves to die. Didn't Olyvar and Perwyn not participate in the RW? But they should be forced to give up their lands and the Crossing. Those Freys who did not participate should be given knightly lands to prove their loyalty.

I shall remember these slay-the-Freys threads next time people argue against Dany's crucifying the slave masters or Cersei slaughtering Robert's bastards.

The hypocrisy is strong in this fandom.

Robb screwed with House Frey, or rather he didnt but should. He broke a marriage contract with a vital House, whose men had fought and died for him. And why did he break it? Because he fell in love with a girl from a House who had just been defeated and changed sides, a Western house sworn to the Lannisters. What kind of message did this send to those who had fought for him? So Walder decided to send a message aswell. Was it right, killing Robb and so many others? No, but his anger was understandable. Walder broke his oath to his liege but Robb broke his oath to his vassal. Marriage contracts are a serious matter.

Well, if that doesn't justify child murder, I don't know what does!

Indeed, the need to send a message about "screwing with others" must be done, and the fact that it would include infanticide, child murder, and mass murder of innocent people is all incidental. Sacrifices must be made.
