Finished John Dies at the End by David Wong, which, although at times a bit juvenile (but at least conscious of it), is far better than I feared and far creepier than I expected. And totally insane, of course.

a small suggestion for you, PB.  maybe try to spread around the abuse a bit.  i don't find any of your posts to be so bad...a little heavy handed, to be sure, but that seems to be your steez.  but, dude(ette?), it seems like your anti-boner is more for LotN than it is for tie in fiction.  don't get me wrong, say whatever your pretty little heart desires, that's just the way it comes off to me.

Why should i spread it around?  I LIKE everyone else around here.  LoTN's weird taste is really the only thing on this board that creeps me/pisses me off.  I'm not going to abuse someone if they don't deserve it.

Besides.  My light teasing was hardly heavy handed, or all that mean.  I called the guy out on his narrow focused reading habits.  Branch the fuck out.

And it's dude.  Unless you want to refer to me as dudette.. Up to you.

I liked The Night Circus, but I found it somewhat lacking in depth overall. For me, it was a lot of pretty prose with nothing under the surface. Still, I've heard from many, many people that they thought it was the best book they've ever read, so maybe it's just me.  I happened to have liked Jonathan Strange and Mr.  Norrell better.

Partially correct. You are not going to abuse anyone for any reason, period. If you want to do that, go and find another board to do it on.
