"Of course, Iceland is relatively small. Beyond the Wall is considerably larger than Iceland—probably larger than Greenland. And the area closest to my Wall is densely forested, so in that sense it's more like Canada—Hudson's Bay or the Canadian forests just north of Michigan. And then as you get further and further north, it changes. You get into tundra and ice fields and it becomes more of an arctic environment. You have plains on one side and a very high range of mountains on the other. Of course, once again this is fantasy, so my mountains are more like the Himalayas. But, you can always play with these things in fantasy.
And what lies really north in my books—we haven't explored that yet, but we will in the last two books."
So who you guys think will go there jon bran or someone else.....?
Will he she go there as a wight....?
and is the war of winterfell the war of ice or will the war be fouht north of wall in the ice planes...?

Personally, I think he's a CotF Greenseer who was not happy with the result of the war of the CotF and the First Men.

Freaking sissies. I always had respect for men of the nights watch because I thought their lives were pretty darn hard. Now though, their lives were hard because they were living in Canada?! I guess the good news is that in the long run the Starks will be one of the wealthiest families in the world because they'll find out they own all the large deposits of natural resources.
As a side note: As winterfel is further south than the wall (Canada) wouldn't this make their climate much different? Say New York, or middle of the US?
