Personally, I'd like to see more of her. I picture her as innocent girl, yet people here say that she is a brutal child. I don't know what to think, except that Myrcella should be loved.

She seems more capable than Tommen thats for sure. She also seems symphatetic but other than that we havent seen that much of her..Could there be a potential civil war between brother and sister? Hope not. I guess though that she ,like Tommen, will suffer from being a Lannister, with such rolemodels as Cersei, Jaime and Tyrion who knows what will happen..

The only good Lannister is a dead Lannister. But seriously, now Joffrey's dead this next generation of Lannisters actually seem pretty good,I see Myrcella as in a similar situation to Sansa; people are just looking to her as the heir to a powerful family that they plan to use. And I like post-Joffrey Tommen, starting to grow a backbone while also remaining kind natured. Overall both have had a baptism of fire for politics, with Myrcella being used and wounded in the process and Tommen having forces try and control him and use him as a puppet.

She's Dornish now, she will marry Trystane in the end.

Myrcella may either return to KL, and eventually replace Tommen when he dies and becomes Queen, or on her way back to KL with her escort of Nymeria and Tyene Sand, Connington manages to have her captured and killed (To end the Usurper's line for good and all).

There's also the theory that Myrcella is actually dead and has been replaced by some common girl for now. All the evidence we have for her being alive is Doran's word, after all. He does seem unwilling to give her back to KL, and the story he tells the Sand Snakes in the last Dorne chapter of ADWD seems to imply something like that.

wait, what?  Perhaps my memory is failing me but I remember from one of Arianne Martell's Chapters that she recalled Myrcella being wounded, but to me it never seemed implied that Myrcella was killed.

But she didn't see Myrcella after the wounding; the wound might have festered or Myrcella might have lost too much blood. It does also make sense because we know Doran wants revenge for Elia, and what better way to get it than to do to Myrcella what the Lannisters did to Rhaenys? IIf this really is true, I also expect to see Myrcella be invited to play a game of Cyvasse, and not knowing what to do when sitting in front of the board...




I know this is crackpot. I'm also not subscribing to this theory. But I find the possibility intriguing and have seen no actual proof that this can't have happened.

Arianne did see Myrcella after the attack as she coached her in what to say.  Whether or not she coached Myrcella or Myrcella's impersonator cannot be confirmed.  For all we know, Myrcella could have been the one to tell Doran of the plan and Myrcella could have ordered Arys to take the look-a-like.  Myrcella is consistently described as clever.

I think in the end, Myrcella and Trystane will marry and they'll live at Casterly Rock. They seem quite fond of one another.   He's not heir to Dorne, but she stands to be heir to the rock.

Myrcella is heir to the Iron Throne not Casterly Rock, and we shouldn't forget Maggies phrophecy, Myrcella is dead, horriable but likely

I find interesting that the two people after Joffrey in the sucession line are quite nice kids; it makes the series a lot less black and white, and make for a better, more engaging and more realistic story.

Would you really want Stannis to take the throne and have Myrcella and Tommen killed as "abominations born from incest"? And once Cersei is taken out of the way, would Stannis (plus Melisandre) be a better ruler than Myrcella and Tommen, if the latter two got wise advisors like Willas Tyrell, Garlan, Margarey, Olenna, Lord Mathis Rowan, Randyll Tarly (the last one only on military matters)?.

The same goes for Dany: she has made a mess in Meereen, and what has she learned from that? "I´m  a conqueror, not a nurturer, blood and fire...etc."...do we really want Dany to come and ravage the Seven Kingdoms yet again, or would we prefer some stability under Tommen or  Myrcella?.

We know Myrcella will die (as queen?) from Maggie's foretelling. We do not know when, she might die a natural death while as old as Walder Frey - the prophecy doesn't say. I also don't see where the conviction that Cersei would survive her children comes from. All it says is that "when your tears have drowned you, the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you." If her children betray her, which I think they might well do once they see her for what she is, she'll certainly collapse emotionally as described in the above sentence.

The most likely "betrayal" is that she openly sides with Trystane ahead of Cersei in the upcoming conflict between Lannister and Martell. As Trystane is 3rd in line to the Dornish throne, it's no big stretch that she'll one day become Queen of Dorne.
The same scenario with Tommen and Tyrell isn't too unbelievable either - especially if Tommen learns that Cersei is behind the accusations against his wife.

I don't think Maggy's prophecy means her children will live and die as kings/queens.  The books use multiple definitions of shrouds throughout.  It's not always a burial cloth. Sometimes it's a cloak to cover a person, sometimes a word used to hide a lie.  It could very well be that Maggy was saying that Cersei's children will have golden heads (from their hair) and their hair will actually be the shroud that contains the lie of their paternity.

I think what was meant was that Myrcella is currently only 2nd in line to Casterly Rock. Technically, it currently belongs to Cersei (although I don't know if she's really established herself there) with Tommen as the heir.

I prefer Stannis on the throne but not because Myrcella and Tommen are Lannisters, its just that despite whatever advisors they may have I still think its best to have someone as experienced as Stannis as ruler. Westeros has seen enough of child rulers, in the current circumstances they wont do imo. This is why I think Dany would make a poor ruler atm, especially since she has made quite alot of mistakes in the East. As a fan of Stannis I wouldnt want him to step over the dead bodies of the Lannister siblings in order to become king, but it might well come to that. As you say they are symphatetic and all is not black and white, killing them would be as wrong as when the Lannisters killed the Targaryen younglings..

Edit: I would prefer Stannis as king and Davos as hand, rather than Mel..

Where did you hear that she is a brutal child? It seems like the generous consensus is that she and Tommen are sweet kids, completely unlike their deceased older brother. The only points against them are that they are bastard spawn and pawns of their mother, which is nothing of their own doing. Unfortunately, I do think their lives will be cut short due to the positions they are in.

I like Tommen and Myrcella. They both seem like really sweet kids, and now that Cersei isn't around them as much, they may actually mature into " good " people. Better than Joffrey anyway.
I want Myrcella to marry Trystane, so they can live happily ever after.
But I don't think George is gonna go with that '' fairy tale " bit.

Stannis seems likely to become Kings, and if he does, he's gonna slaughter every Lannister in sight. Firstly, they're " abominations born of incest " and secondly, that's what the Lannisters did to the Targaryens.

I support Stannis. I would support everything he does. Even killing the Lannister children. It might be a bit harsh, but if he lets them live, who's going to guarantee they won't return in 20 years, fight for the Throne against an old Stannis or a sickly Shireen?
