That's what makes him a villain.  If he served others, he would be a hero, however misguided.

Gregor Clegane's a hero now?

Yes, the man who kills for pleasure and serves for title is very clearly a hero.

someone who can quote themselves quoting themselves cannot be defeated by mere mortals - i dont get why anyone is trying to argue with ctrl+C and ctrl+V let alone 5 pages of it

in all honesty - Euron  > Sansa. and he isnt 1) a POV character 2) in every book 3) teenage girl written by a 50+ year old man
none of the awesome characters have a POV.  They know too much.

I know most of you have read up to the latest of a song of ice and fire

EURON CROW'S EYE has caught my attention with his mysterious and frightening appeal

His slick hair black as midnight, His smiling playful eye, His wicked lips

As far as I have read, thanks to Lord paramount of the trident, lord protector of the vale (I DON'T KNOW IF YOUR AWARE WHAT A PARAMOUNT IS BUT I GUESS YOU DO =D)Thanks to them I've fallen for euron's wicked aura once more

FELLOW FANS OF EURON, IF YOU'VE WATCHED THE RECENT MOVIES

THOR, AVENGERS ASSEMBLE, WAR HORSE

then you would all know of the marvellous acting TOM HIDDLESTON possesses!!!!

lets consider TOM HIDDLESTON FOR THE CASTING OF EURON CROW'S EYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hes perfect!!!

YES! I was just thinking of him as Euron, but my only concern was that he might be too young.

Sorry on my phone. Forgive any errors.

I don't like Euron for the simple fact that he looks like a modern day politician (or at leastone from my country). He tells his people what they want to hear , telling them of great accomplishments that they can achive under his rule...when acctually he can't fufill those accomplishments.
His lying is based on a damn horn that we do not know if it works but we know for sure if you blow it you will die. Are those ironmen that dumb ?
Is Euron mastermind or just a dude that says anything to get power ? does he have a big plan ...he has a win/ win situation sending Victtarion on a quest. If Victarion dies in his quest , Euron loses a potential rival , if not he gets the dragons... why didn't he went for Danny if he is such a big hotshot ?

We know to little about Euron , but that's the impression he makes... a big one eye liar.

I like Euron only as a villain. His storylines are kind of new and he's heading towards Dany which I like. But I prefer Victarion cuz I agree with the AA theory. But I think there's more than one AA and victarion might be one and Euron might be The Other's servant. All theories ofcourse

Boy, that escalated quickly... I mean, that really got out of hand fast.

I think most of what Euron says is BS, so it's hard to gauge how badass he is so far.

The more compelling story to me is his rivalry with Victarion, who I'm rooting for (against his brother, at least).

I like the mystery surrounding him and how he's been built up. I'm looking forward to where his fate lies.

Let's be honest, Euron is not a very multi-dimensional character. Until expounded on, he is not in my friend zone. I find the Euron-love to be similar to those readers who love Dany simply because she hatched dragon eggs. Though there are more compelling facets of her character that one could find/defend, there really aren't many compelling facets of Euron's character other than him doing badass things.

Doing badass stuff does not equate being an awesome character IMO.

Nah it doesn;t, but we've seen much too little of him to decide whether or not he's a one-dimensional character.

Except for Asha, I'm really not a big fan of the Ironborn in general.  They historically seem to be mostly talk.

Totally agree. Which is why I mentioned that, until his character is expounded on, I'm not really a fan. I think there's potential though. But as of right now .... meh. I'm not a huge fan of the Iron Born, but Victarion was one of those who I had zero-to-no interest in until I got to spend more time with his character so I definitely think that's possible with Euron.

I agree with this all. Except I hate Vic, he's so boring. And I love Asha, but other than that i'm not too fussed with the Ironborn, which is why I want Euron to be an interesting character.

On the contrary, even though I'm not too much of a fan of the Ironborn at all (even though, I do have a soft spot for Asha, I love her) I genuinely do think they are a bit more than JUST talk, they're nasty pieces of work.

Could you elaborate on what makes him awesome?  (I'm legitimately curious)

he does have an eyepatch....thats all i've got :)

I picture him much like the lead singer of Dead or Alive.

In fact someone needs to shoot a video of Euron singing you spin me right round on a kareoke machine.

I mean, he's not one of my favorites, but at least he's graduated from being "Another Pillaging Iron Born with a Raping Problem" in my mind.

i find Vic's chapters quite interesting. He doesn't seem to realize what is going on around him.
Asha proposes to share the rule and he thinks she means to marry.
Talbert Serry, Two gods,My great new hand, burn the maester, euron's gifts are poisoned (and still talk to dusky woman), troubled by monkeys. I am eagerly waiting to see what happens when the hellhorn is blown. how does he claim the dragons by blood.

Any idea why his lips are blue? I mean are they blueish for the cold, or BLUE like Pyat Pree?
I have to say I don't like Euron. He sounds too much like Darkstar. And his plan of conquest with a horn is weird. I don't buy this "bing dragons by magic" thing. I don' t buy magic at all. one of the things that is interesting in Asoiaf is it being believable and following certain rules. you can't just twist the rules with ridiculous horn-blowing and shadowbabies! It is a cheap trick!
I wish the dragons have a taste for squid and eat Euron.
