Well my name seems pretty self explanatory, but there a few reasons i chose my name. When i was younger i use to get told alot i have a heart made of Ice, because it seemed to anyone who didn't know me well that i had no emotions. Another reason is the movie the Crow with Brandon Lee is one of my favourite all time movies. When i was signing up for the site i sat back and thought about who would i be or what house would i belong to if i really lived in Westeros, the honest truth is especially in my younger days i would have been sent to Wall to join the watch. The wall is made of Ice and the men of the Watch are called crows, you add all that with my other reason and there you have it ICE CROW.

Serious question, I've always wondered how you pronounce "Hui". Is it like "wha"? Or "uwha"? Or totally different?
Like others have said, it's "hway" (the h sound + the word way pressed together into one syllable). If any one is interested, the pinyin is Téng Ài Huī, and the characters are 疼爱晖.

A long time ago, back when I created my first email address, I chose the name imladolen (typed in lowercase to avoid confusions with "i" and "l"). I figured the way I came up with that name would make it completley unique. See, long before I created my first email address I found a copy of the English to Elven Dictionary (Tolkein's elven that is). Using it, I came up with an approximate translation of my full name. My middle name, Glenn (which is actually what I go by) is derived from the geographical term "glen" a small narrow secluded valley. The closest I could translate that was simply imlad (which means valley). The "ol" and "en" syllables I added as (from what I recall) one of them was a modifier making it male, and the other making it diminuitive (realize I was 15 at the time, and didn't quite know what the hell I was doing), so "imladolen" (or "imladenol") was supposed to mean something like "small valley" male.
Those who are fluent in Elvish would probably groan at how poorly I translated my name, but there it is.
I figured that the only people that would use the name Imladolen online would have to 1) be named Glen or Glenn, 2) be big enough geeks to try to translate their name into Tolkein's Elven tongue, 3) and use the same method as I did.
Pretty sure noone else out there has done the same (pretty high odds against it at least).
So, anyone here know Elven well enough to correct my translation? That would be very welcome!

Maybe I will and then you can all be confused by the lack of wit in my posts.
Chelly is my family nickname given to me by my older sister who had a hard time pronouncing my real name because she was still a toddler when I was born. I'm not sure how she got Chelly from Celia(my actual name) but it stuck with the family and everybody started calling me that. I prefer to use my nickname online because "Celia" just sounds so serious...

I originally started out as "Nora Stark" because, well, my name is Nora and I like the Starks. (Rocket science!)
Over at the chat board I had to sign up and for some reason couldn't use that, so I went with "Starkess" as a kind of female form of the word Stark. Then that was confusing to have 2 different names, so I changed my board name to Starkess. And here we are.
Hum ho.

I'm a Houston Texans fan... A few years back one of their players, Dunta Robinson, was upset that he did not have a new contract with the team... So, the first game of the season he wrote "Pay" on one cleat and "Me Rick" on the other ("Rick" being the general manager of the Texans, Rick Smith)... I just removed the Rick...
