[Book Spoilers] Pre-airing Discussion

Recommended Posts

We need a pre-airing thread.

So, from the preview it looks like we are getting the Jaime/Cleos (Alton) prison escape scene. And the hunt for Bran and Rickon looks like it'll be a good scene(s).

Really curious to how they will show Dany's storyline now. Will she see her visions in the HotU, or just go there to get her dragons from the warlock? Sure, both could happen. But from the summary, it says she gets an invitation. Hm, should be interesting nonetheless.

I love the ep title - a man without honor could be Jaime, Jon, Robb. Or all three in one episode, if we get Jaime making a deal with Catelyn, Jon joining the wildlings, and Robb screwing over the Freys with Talisia Jeyne-the-hot-battlefield-medic.

What was Shae doing in the preview? It looks like she is putting a knife to Sansa's throat. Anyone else think it is Sansa?

And I think the 'man without honor' will be multiple characters -- Theon (hunting a lil kid and a cripple), Robb (maybe this will be the episode he hooks up with talisa), The Hound (for scaring Sansa in her room), and Jaime (for trying to escape??).

From what I gather from the preview, In that one scene with Jaime and Alton conspiring in the cell. They were interrupted by someone pulling a blade. We only get a torso shot but that looks like Brienne. So here's fingers crossed for an early showing of Jaime calling Brienne "wench". :)

Why would Jaime be without honor for escaping?? Isn't it the first duty of any prisoner to try to escape? :) I think it's Theon.

I think the titles refers to Jaime, maybe he will try to escape at the beginning of the episode with the help of Alton... and then, later, after being recaught, the news of Bran and Rickon's deaths will reach Catelyn and the episode will end on Jaime being fred...

Why was Tywin shouting 'kill them all' what was that about?

Does that lead to a different Turtle Soup scenario than in CoK, that would be ok with me, thought that one worked ok, but if it's about Arya's escape that's ok too. As long as they keep George's great story of Arya tricking Jaqen.

Figured Turtle Soup would be in E8.

Also Tywin has got to march soon or he's not going to make it to KL in time.

*Weasel soup.

Yeah, I want the tricking of Jaqen, too, no matter how it happens afterward as long as the results are the same... Harrenhal falling in the hands of Roose Bolton (since it seems he wont be going north to retake Winterfell in the end).

I dont know what the heck is hapenning with Tywin yelling ? Maybe Northerners arriving at the castle, but it seems strange...

I think it's with the death of Armory Lorch . He wants to know who is the killer and asks for all the prisoners to be killed or something .

so along the Arya timeline we have to get Tywin out of Harrenhall (he went north in the books), Lorch to replace him (now that Lorch is dead we will need another lannister bannerman to control Harrenhall), capture Bolton, Arya rescue Bolton through the weasel soup episode, then have Arya escape

Assuming tywin doesnt leave in epi 7-3 episodes doesnt seem adequate time to get it done.
