Stevenson is almost too good looking to play Victarion. But I just want him on the show, dont care what role.

Shame he is debasing his career by starring in Dexter though

He's one of the best villains Dexter has had in a long time and Stevenson is praised by the fans. I don't see how that's debasing his career :/

Plus the shows shoot at different times of the year so he can still play Victarion.

Hi all

Put a poll on fanpop, where you can vote on 6 candidates that I like, add comments and even add your own choice of actor at the bottom.

My choice was influenced by their suitability in terms of acting chops, their looks e.g tall, big  and brutish in an attractive way and the likelihood of them being cast, in other words disregarding Hollywood actors and instead mainly focusing on British actors.

Lars Mikkelson - If Mads is a fan favourite for Euron, his borther Lars should be considered for Victarion. He's 6 foot 4 inches tall and could look the part

Marton Csokas - My orignial dream cast for GOT had Csokas as Victarion and look-alike Ciarin Hinds as Euron. Hinds will be playing Mance Rayder now, but Csokas would still make a great Victarion.

I thought he was just talking about how awful Dexter is most of the time. Stevenson's great though. Would really want him as Victarion. Just looks like he can physically pull it off.

Euron and Victarion->Mads & Lars Mikkelsen! That would be truly awesome, and Lars is a really good actor although he hasn't had the international career of his brother. He does a lot of theater here,and I think he has the strong presence to pull it off. (Here being Copenhagen)

I can't believe I'm just now realizing this but Matthias Schoenaerts is absolutely perfect. Huge guy, phenomenal actor, speaks perfect english.

He's kind of blowing up right now though, so I don't know where he'll be a year or so from now, he might be too big a deal.

He's my absolute #1 pick of about 60 seconds ago though. Just perfect.

Victarion is one of my favorite characters in the books, so I really hope they get someone great to play him. Ray Stevenson does seem like he'd be a great Victarion, I thought he was really good in this season of Dexter.

I really like Ray Stevenson, but he's too good-looking for Victarion and too humourous, although his body build is perfect for the role. I've always pictured Victarion with a permanent grumpy face, and I can't see Ray Stevenson doing that. I picture Victarion's body build like Ray Stevenson's, but his face I picture like Mads Mikkelsen's. I also like Mads, but he's not big enough to be Victarion, he'd be better as Euron.

So, does anybody know an actor that looks like Mads Mikkelsen in face and Ray Stevenson in body build? That would be the perfect Victarion for me

I believe we have different views on what a Huge guy is. Matthias is just over 6 feet tall.
